Spoken to their agents for next season I believe, whether anything comes of it who knows. Some interesting rumours going around about a few players we have spoken to recently, again who knows if they will come to anything.

Not heard anything about the Pryce brothers but the Fielden thing I've heard from a few people and LMS is to be announced soon.

The Pryce/Fielden thing is a case of talking to agents, nothing more.

I have only heard general rumours about LMS, I think most of it is because he used to play for us, have not heard anything more concrete.

Think Tickle will leave, although Brown leaving might change it? I expect Washy and Houghton to stay and also think Radford will get another season. Hall has had an offer but nothing signed I don't think?

The LMS one I heard from the same girl that told me about O'Meley last year, but still we wait and see.
One worrying thing is that Rule on Wednesday night talked about a "pecking order" for players renewing their deals, who's played themselves to the top etc.. Now if Hall has already been offered a contract already before Houghton then I'm shocked.

Houghton has a contract offer aswell as Hall from what I was told and he wants to stay although other teams are enquiring about him.

I was a bit critical about Houghton last season and early part of this season but since Berrigan got injured he has really stepped up and he deserves big raps for that.

"Pryce is in the last year of his contract (2010) and is considering a number of offers from rugby union clubs. Remember not too long ago Karl Price was one of the hottest properties in SL, huge, strong, Fast ... could be a tonic he needs coming to a big club that actually wants him !!

I agree at one point he looked like the next big thing, an English back with the size and power you would usually associate with the likes of Inglis and Folau. However he at times looked like a gentle giant but also then gave some displays that made you think wow!

He has done nothing at Wigan and I don't know if that was to do with injuries, attitude or the coaching staff, although Noble had him at Bradford so would not have taken him there if he did not want him. Either way if you get him playing he is a helluva player, that's a big if though.

Could be a dud or a wow of a signing.

Karl would be a shocking signing, he harsly played for 2 years, surley we have learnt from the last 2 years. Also for a man of his size he doesnt do enough, not good enough and would rather keep Calderwood.

Leon would be an amazing signing, in great form this year, cant see him leaving Saints or coming to us though.

Fielden on the right wage would be a good move.

Westerman would be happy with if Tickle and Titz move on, as it would leave us slightly short in the backrow, especially if we lose 2 props. (Cusack and Dowes). Cant see us paying a big transfer fee though.

Robinson would be a very good signing, good back up to Long and could play hooker allowing Berrigan to play in the backs. Wild is a good player but would be a risk with his injuries problems, one of the best backrowers in the league when fit, better than Tickle IMO.

Mathers would be my main target to allow Tansey to play at 6.

I'm very disapointed with the comments regarding Horne, embarrssed even.

I know it takes some bottle to play rugby league but Karl Pryce has got to be the most heartless player currently earning a wage. He was devastating at reserve level but as soon as he stepped up and the big boys started to hit him hard he showed what he was really made of. He's terrible.

It's probably best to remember that most of our major signings in recent years have been surprise ones - Berrigan, Fitz, O'Meley, Long - none of these were rumoured beforehand.

Would love to see LMS, Westerman, Robinson & Mathers come to Hull. As Dave says move Berrigan into the centres and i then think weve got the makings of a Super league winning side.

Personally would not touch Wild, picking up lots in injuries and would rather let Burnett continue with hsi development.

Never used to like Robinson but he could do a good job mixing between the halves and hooker although with Horne, Long, Houghton and Berro already here one of them would have to leave to make signing him a possibility.

Wouldn't want Mathers,Westerman or Robinson,wouldn't improve the side one little bit.

Now I'd take a punt with LMS,has the potential to be a very good prop.

Mathers is a good player, playing very well at the moment, better FB than Tasney, but would allow Tansey to play 6.

Having Robinson would give us much needed cover for Long, if we had robinson this year we would have won a couple more game IMO.
