I recon thats a shout too , mind you to pull him away from current rep involvement and his current standing in world RL maybe a million quid a month and Beyonce and Kylie as a three up every weekend may just sway his mind set if in his contract, anything less may just blow it for me

Turner is and has been for a while a quality player that will only keep getting better ...

Not for a while he hasnt....still not convinced about him against better class of centres.

Hes played well in every game since coming in for yeamo,scored a fair few tries aswel plus his deffence has improved,give credit were its due mark.

Players who play as hard and direct as Aspinwall are more likely to pick up injuries. Played very well for us this year so far.

Both under contract, both play in positions we are weak in.

So no would be the answer.

With Ellis signing we have to make sacrifices, we are well stocked in the back row and IMO aspinwall in the weakest senior bak row forward.

He's been good, but nowhere near as important as McKinnon has been for us. I can see where Dave K is coming from, if we keep hold of Manu I'd be tempted to let Aspinwall go too. Depends how we do for props and whether he'd fancy playing there permanently.

May keep him if Manu buggers off though....Contracts mean sod all as well

That could be an option, hopefully it won't happen though.

I'd keep him as a prop. He plays at 13 as an extra prop, basically, gives 100%, is available for cheap, and would fit into the more mobile pack that it seems Gentle is going for. Would be good depth for the front row.

Joel Edwards of the Knights would be a my choice to replace O'Meley if he left . Predominately a back rower but hits way above his weight and would complement Ellis within the pack especially in defence.

How would we stand on getting a player on lone for a year from Aus, is it possible? It's interesting to see players like Taumalolo QL (Cowboys) start some games and have storming matches and then be given a run in the QL Cup for a bit so as not to burn them out. I wonder if any club would consider sending them out to the Superleague for a year as an intermediate step between QL Cup and playing fulltime in the NRL.

Sam Kasiano at the Bulldogs is OOC at the end of this season. He's young, big, and has a lot of potential but I doubt that they'd want to part with him.
