Agree however Manly are getting rid due to fitness issues and him not at any point being able to get himself up to speed, if a lucrative contract and chance of playing 1st grade NRL doesn't do it for him then I highly doubt playing at the KCOM would lol

He's a big lazy show pony. Not that he'll be leaving the NRL any time soon. Can see the Dragons or even Souths taking a punt.

Maybe not totally fair I'll concede but how many times have we been fed statements by the club/Adam for it to be either nothing like was intimated or nothing happens at all? We released Evans and the club kept trotting out we were looking to bring in additions and no one was brought in to replace him.
Plus when was the last time Adam or the club genuinely spoke to the fan base other than to sell passes or for shirt sales? So I don't think it would be particularly unfair to say that the Club/Adam certainly don't help themselves with the total lack of engagement/communication with the fan base.

I won't apologise for being pessimistic of late as that's just how I've been made to feel about the club I love and supported since a 6 year old. Perhaps the club needs to hear the home truths from it's lifeblood instead of taking it for granted and delivering a product that to be brutally honest hasn't been and isn't good enough. Plus there appears to be so many issues within the club as a whole that need addressing too.

I would love nothing more than to see Smith turn around what is currently a floating turd adrift at sea and see an influx of 2 or 3 quality players but I just can't see it happening, I hope I am very wrong.

He will kill it if he wanted to too, massive ability, his issue is attitude, Evans has always been pretty average.

We couldn't afford to take the risk on him, but put him at Wigan or Saints, he be brilliant.

Can't see it, still Newcastle's best halfback, got dropped (not sure why, as was playing well), played really well in reserves, back in the first team last weekend.

Could se us making a move for Sexton or O Sullivan.

Can’t see us singing anyone, and in the grand scheme of things one player isn’t going to make any difference to this squad of players.

we will sign 2 or 3 players in next few weeks,wether it will stem tide is another matter.

A good one would, I'd want one that is long term if an overseas player.

Even a short term signing until the end of the season would give us a lift.

Whoever we sign it's not going to make a huge difference to this team but at least it would create interest and show some ambition. A Schneider like signing would be good.

Even if we only get beaten by 40 points rather than 50 it would be a huge boost to morale.
