On the biggest stage,with our hopes the highest my team put in their worst performance. Supporting The Airlie Birds is a rollercoaster and when we sense a bit of hope experience tells us expect the worst. But I honestly never saw that performance coming. I love this clu. And I'll be back no matter what, but I am hurting. It's just plain cruelty to fans. Animals have the RSPCA, but I have to find a bar with a quiet corner. My team let me down BIG.

You really are pretty nondescript when it comes to your posts, the players gave everything, the effort was not in doubt, execution, nerves, fear, panic were clearly the deciding factor and whilst we are bitterly dissapointed you are not in any position to be demanding an apology from the players/coach.

The drive was long, the weather was atrocious and the performance wasn't there!

Today i am Hopeful!

The whole point of being a supporter is to go through thick n thin, if I could change the results I'd b a player or a coach! I can't, so ill be a supporter, and hopeful that on Friday we can tear them apart! Ha!

Whilst I was upset, things could be worse, we could be lower leagues, skint, in a run down ground with crowds of 500 and not been in a cup final or grand final for 50 years! Things can always get better, but they can also be a lot worse!

That's just it - they didn't give everything. Far from it.

Yesterday was a real disappointment, but did have a good night out with friends in London which was a great end to a miserable day.

At that moment in time it was everything they had to offer, the made errors mentally in the choices/decision making, if you decree from that that they didn't give their all to win the game then you just are not going to understand in any way the phrase 'giving your all'.
Best you stop miaking yourself look foolish with your witless comments about what you think the players have/have not done with regard to effort/giving their all....

At the end of the day we were a bit like rabbits in headlights,I think it's safe to say that the occasion got to the players big style.Weve had a trip to wembley which most other supporters would love to have,if nothing else hopefully the players will learn from it and come away the better for it.As for me ill continue to support my team and will be buying my season pass for next year.

Looking at the two line ups i wouldnt say there was much difference in experience of internationals,SOO,cc and grand finals.Wigan seemed to cope with the occasion ok

Disappointed - that once again expectation has been blown away, I could have said gutted, suicidal, angry etc., but over the years I have learnt to keep those emotions in check, part and parcel of being an FC fan. Will always support FC and now look to the team to make a massive effort in the playoffs.

Disillusioned

Yesterday promised so much, and I felt that we would witness history with Hull finally winning at Wembley.

The effort was there, but unfortunately that will not win you anything alone. Wigan were there for the taking and we gifted them the win, which is even more frustrating knowing if we had played like we had against Wire we would be still out celebrating now!

Today I'm feeling a little more optimistic, I genuinely feel we are turning a corner.
