My comment was to Talentboys post when he gave his opinion that it will be the overseas signings that save our season and with the exception of Walker who i think will be a success i agree with him.
Our main problem is we lack quality accross the park,from a very average threequarter line, a weak second row and unknown halfback pairing.
Every pre season we have posters on here commenting on how positive they are for the up coming season and this one is no different especially given all the changes,and i guess the odds say that one season they will be correct but next season its more in hope than reality.
We are an unknown and could surprise one or two teams,and what i do like is the quiet way the club have gone into pre season and obviously changed the fitness routine from last season which clearly didnt work.
So to answer your question sixth at best but more likely ninth

I know I say every year this is gonna be a better year .Last few years got that wrong. So as we embark yet again on a fresh start I'm full of optimism to start of with. Could well have that knocked out of me again but b.ugger it

It was interesting to see that Hakim Miloudi is poised to enter Super League again. I always thought there was something there as he struck me as a bit of an off the cuff player, exciting and a bit of a potential maverick. I guess that will get me a bashing from some of the naysayers on here. I was told ages ago that it was his attitude in camp rather than his potential that alienated him with us. I'll look forward to his progress.

Not that great in the two games you watched, this was in a team that finished bottom of the league.

I've seen enough of him (probably 20 games or so at different levels) to see his has potential and deserves a chance next year, I remember watching him for the reserves and outplayed Junior Nsemba, he might not make the cut but if given the chance think he will do well.

You "bang on about" how poor Fash, Lane and Cator are constantly, yet you seem to have a problem with people asking for somebody else to be given even just a chance at replacing one of them.
Nobody is asking for Staveley to be given the number 11 shirt. People just want him to have a shot to see IF he is good enough to become a regular first teamer or not.

He will get his chance in the friendlies
