They said something along the lines of 'we've contracted our ball boys now just in case Hull try to sign them as well'.
How many ex-Hull players were in the KR side?

I thought that was quite funny to be fair to Sandy. Decent humour and if our situations were reversed and Gentle had said something along those lines we would have loved it. |

I think that's a little funny, too. But on Sunday it was actually 2-1 to Rovers for players signed from the other Hull club. By my count, the squads will contain 3 each next season.
I also see Sandercock is whining again about his injuries in today's HDM. 'Our full forward pack out, except hookers.' Must be nice for any fit forwards to know that they're all second choice and he'd rather bring in loans if he was allowed. |

And Gentle was spot on IMO, a lot of it is peddling a myth. There's so much talk about injuries and how small their squad is, but for arguments' sake, if you compare it with ours to look at how many players had any/much SL/NRL experience prior to this season, there's really very little in it. He also never seems to credit that players who didn't start the season as first choice might now have climbed up the pecking order. |
