All I've heard this morning on radio is that HCC will not sell the KC because of Hull fc.
NO MENTION THE GUY'S A FOOKING FRUIT LOOP.

I was amazed to hear Terry Geraghty give such a precise prediction as 15 months.
It begs the question what information he had on the future plans for the Stadium.

So allam is telling the council that Hull FC are costing him "a lot of money"?

Now the 2 possible scenarios from that for me are that either allam is the one funding pearson's purchase of the club or that pearson's club are a thorn in allam's side which would, presumably, make pearson's position at city difficult

I have an idea !
I will build a super extension that can be used for the benefit of all including yourself. In fact I will make a mammoth investment to make it happen.
As your part of the deal you just have to sign over to me the title deeds of your building, as well as the land of course. Its a simple as that ! and any profits from the agreement will be erm.......mine.
Should at some time in the future I decide to sell any part of the the new super extension or indeed the existing building then any person dwelling there will of course be given very good notice of this event, and will be given ample time to find a new home somewhere. But trust me you are safe , it will never happen. Why would anyone ever want to sell land or buildings for profit ? It just never happens. So... what do you think, do we have a deal ?

I'm unsure how any sports related facility in Hull would possibly finance £60/70m+ of debt, let alone provide a decent return

Can't believe how many people who should know better have been taken in by Assem Allam and his pipe dream.

Seems to me he wants/needs the KC stadium to help fund his dream and just wants HCC to simply hand it over as a contribution to his sports village!! Then he'll turn round and say the sport village is no longer viable due to the level of ASBO's etc and sit there laughing as he has got a £50M stadium for sweet f.a.

If it is a gift to the City why do the Council need to make a contribution?? His gift to the city spiel is just bo!!ox as proved by his 'I dont want to build an extension on a rented house'. HCC have even said they would look at extending the stadium if they got to a level where it was sustainable and viable to do so.

Let him take his ball home and build a Stadium in Melton as my guess is that won't happen either.

I might be a lone voice from the Rovers supporter base, but I'm 100% behind the council on this. Allam comes across as a total nutjob. Why on earth should our elected councillors give away the most expensive asset they own?

Thats not what he said. He said that he asked Rovers to move to the KC (past tense). Hudgell said no. This was before the £1million quid loan.

You're behind the times, I'm afraid. He's reiterated the desire again, today, just confirmed on Sportstalk. White and Gollum sounded a bit sheepish as they confirmed that's what he'd said.

Feel a bit sorry for Gollum in all this. He's the only one trying to be balanced and I can tell he has massive reserves about Allam. The rest of them just ignore him and carry on screeching hysterically in outrage on behalf of the Egyptian.

Gollum's probably sceptical because he can see Allam's full evil plans for his precious Rovers at the KC via the recall of his "loan"

I can see him pressing for this now his plans have been scuppered and he needs bums on seats recoup some of the dosh he's just p$$ed away on city.
