We can't sign carney without losing an overseas player so I'd be surprised

I heard same. But then it was questioned by some1 I know. He said it was to be discussed but Radders is on hol currently and players are all over the world.

Who's hull fc players wife as he shagged as you put it! People make mistakes , don't think his professionalism when it comes to rugby league is in question ( could be wrong) I know most cas fans would have him back in a heartbeat. I think the player vote thing would be fair, like you you say, if it was to effect team spirit and hull went against the vote and signed him, that would be a mistake . But for you to say , you don't want him any where near the club , is a bit harsh.

James Clark apparently said last night that there's more chance of him playing at centre than there is of us signing Welham so hopefully that means we can put that rumour to bed!

Why is it? The club talk of building a team spirit, how's Jordan Thompson and his mates within the group going to react to Carney turning up. Anyone that can do that is a wrong 'un and should be avoided.

I'm the last one to talk, I've not been whiter than white in the past so don't judge anyone on what they do in their personal lives.

Yep talk to anyone in the know in Cas and as Karen says its a case of "let him who casts the first stone!!!" on this one, and as my pal always says it takes two to tango!

I don't think that the Carney thing is dead yet and I guess in the end we have to decide whether we have a team picked firstly because they are nice guys and secondly on their ability. Do you search for good clubmen who might be able to play a bit too or go out and find the very best players you can get your hands on and then manage their personal stuff. Its all about managing and I know what Wigan, Leeds and Saints do!

For me team spirit in camp can see you get a long way and overcome insurmountable odds at times, but in the end the truly great teams have the off the wall individuals who can do the things that win you games from nothing, but on many occasions their talent can often come with a deal of baggage too. It could be the ability to partake in nefarious acts with dogs or to wee in ones own mouth, all of course totally unacceptable but past human frailties in very talented players! Sometimes its the actual arrogance, front and 'daring' aspects of a players make up that make them so good!

The vast majority of Cas fans who know the truth would keep Carney at any price and all of them would have Chase back tomorrow. Just as Leeds fans might not have liked what Zak Hardaker did, but the Club recognising his talent managed his issues and now he's man of Steel. You can't see shipping out the trouble makers as a solution, its a cop out for me, because I think that the issues of those trouble makers, if they are truly talented, have to be addressed and managed. The big teams get the best players, (the match winners and game breakers) to play and manage the rest.
