With Taylor out through suspension, Sao out injured and Evans released we look very light weight in the forwards. Hopefully today is a great opportunity for the likes of both Gardiner & Staveley to put a market down for the future.
Hoping the lighter forwards will be a benefit in the warm weather today.
Both sides are patched up with players missing and too close to call but if we turn up for each other with the same attitude to defend as they have in the last 3 games we have a good chance to make it in to the next round.

Swift is class. Will be a huge blow if he does leave. Some of his finishes are as good as Tom Johnstone's yet he never gets the same accolades.

Very decent first half after a slow start.

He is. Pretty good half that after the first few minutes.

Seems to be something in the waters of the Calder this year. Possibly a benzodiazepine. A few missing for Cas in fairness. However, they and Wakefield have 1 win and 23 losses against other clubs in league and cup, barring an extremely unlikely comeback in this game.

Agreed both him, Sutcliffe and Griffin look very strong going forward with Clifford pulling the strings. Swift been very good first half both in attack Nd defence.

Trueman's influence been growing all game. Lovely soft hands there for the Lane try.
