Having read his comments on facebook i agree with him.

it's a new are for the club and if the club are trying to get old fans back they should be using every option available.

Plenty of fans either don't have access to the internet or wouldn't want to sit and watch there pc for 90 mins. we shouldn't turn our back on radio just because some people dont like 1 person.

RH broadcast the Rovers fans forum on the radio only, to a fair bit of disgruntlement for those out of range. It's a trade-off between geography and internet access it seems, but streaming gives you the advantage of pictures too (assuming it works). From a personal perspective, the combination of internet + the forum not being hosted by a Hull KR supporter is a simple win-win. Not as if Clarky is a novice at this sort of thing either.

Radio Humberside are the most listened to radio station in the area, especially for sports and the club should be looking at them broadcasting a fans' forum soon regardless of who is presenting it.

Can't agree. Can you imagine DDD being allowed to chair a Rovers forum? Why should their fans have to put up with that?

If Humberside had organised and funded the forum and Hull were therefore indebted to them, then I can see an argument to let them dictate who chairs. But as this has been organised and funded by the club and FC Voices, then they should decide who chairs, and it should be someone who empathizes with the feelings of the fans.

I'm not interested in what the presenter says, just the panel.

I believe the club should ask RH to organise and produce the next forum.

But the presenter dictates the tone and mood of the session and contributes a good percentage of the questions. I for one am not interested in Gollum's choice of questions or in listening to his patronizing sycophancy to the panel, while all the time we know full well he doesn't mean a word of it as he gives not two hoots about our club.

This outrage by Gollum is purely because because he feels slighted, it's a blow to his massive ego and he seems to under some illusion that the title "Rugby League editor of the local radio station" earns him some kind of automatic status and rights within the city. It doesn't. And wouldn't even if he was impartial.

I'm not sticking up for Radio Humberside here, by the way. I just want the best for Hull FC and that includes a beneficial relationship with all local media.

He's basically blamed FC Voices for blocking him as the presenter for the Forum and hence causing the proposed broadcast by Blunderside to fall through. Dummies and teddies all over. Seems pretty clear that he reads this forum BTW - big fan of The Dentist's Diary.
