| Any opinions on why Connors been so,inconsistent at 6?
No doubting he can put players through gaps, it's his running game that I thinks lacking, itl be interesting to see how he goes there with Sneyd under new coachs, but from what I've seen we've looked very flat.
I think fullback we d get the most out of Connor, chiming into the line as an extra creative pivot

Any opinion on why Taylor, Houghton, Sneyd, Shaul etc are inconsistent?
Not sure Connor is such a scapegoat when Sneyd etc was equally as bad fge last two years.
My guess, poor coaching and poor pack, both I've mentioned many times before.

About a year after a lot of us on here knew we was been poorly coached, at least you can admit it now though. Connor I’d let go if we he really wants the 6 spot, frustrating because he’s a top class centre, Carlos would miss out in my starting 13, Connor, griffin centre for me

James stood in at short notice for AP Mrs B, apparently AP was unwell.

There are a few more, I watched alot of old games over this lock down and he had some really good games, the majority of games he has had has been in 2018 and 2019 behind a beaten pack. Connor is a much more creative than Carlos at 6. Connor is our best passing, along with Kelly the only player who can put a player through a gap.
Put Connor at 6 and carlos in the centre behind our pack in 2016 and we would have done the double.
Never had a good enough run at 6 with a good pack and deserves a chance.'"
I agree. Connor is hugely talented and needs to be given a proper chance at Stand Off.
With the club in a perilous financial position we should be looking to retain players rather than recruit. I believe the first 17 is a match for anyone.

| Hugely talented ?????? I would say fairly talented with a poor attitude, weak defence and little pace !! Sadly he seems content with what he is & doesn't show any signs of stepping up or improving. His attitude has too often stank for me - always blaming those around him.
Having watched all of the NRL it really highlights the gulf in standards between that and SuperLeague. Not aiming this just at Jake but I wonder how truly good he would have been in the NRL system ? He certainly would have defended WAY better, cut out the sulks and been in much better physical shape. On current performances he wouldn't be on anybodies roster - sadly that goes for the vast majority of SL though !!

| Yeh I read that last night its great that we had our pay cuts etc agreed weeks ago and that other clubs are being encouraged by the players union to follow our example. Looks like there is trouble at some and you can see how some clubs employees are upset that they are being asked to take pay cuts whilst their clubs are still spending money to sign players. If we have agreed the deals with our players it looks like we are honouring that agreement, which explains a lot about our stance on not signing anyone at this time.

Indeed, dealing with integrity and honesty is the only way most businesses will survive this situation, I know a lot of very skilled people who have been or will be laid off once employers have to start paying more of the wages, makes sense short term, but there will be a few that get pushed down the self employed route and will take business away from their former employers, obviously not in RL but certainly the trades.

| Sure I'll get shot down and undoubtedly the SMC have us tied into contractual agreement, however, if one of our major outgoings relate to the stadium is there a case for ( short term) groundshare with HKR ?

Nothing would surprise me this year Kenty, on a similar controversial subject, sure to raise the hackles, how about AP and the Allams forge a new relationship regarding both professional teams on an even footing, everything is already in place, if old wounds can be healed, who knows even complete ownership of the stadium and combined finances may be the way forward.

"Not every Super League outfit has been able to work as smoothly as FC over the last few months, and it seems word has got around about the club’s behaviour. Hull Live has learnt that FC are being praised by high profile players and representatives at other clubs across the league for the way they have handled themselves during the Super League suspension and the pandemic."
Separately League Express says Hull KR and Warrington have the biggest gaps vs player expectations.

To try and get fans back into the stadium for both clubs next season what about issuing 15,000 passes which allow access to both Hull FC and Hull City home games.
The price would have to be attractive and probably in the prime seating areas.
The balance of available seats would be for both FC and Hull city fans not interested in watching both teams.
need some radical thinking for next season especially if Hull City are relegated

It’s a massive five games coming up for City, I hope they can stay up, their fans have had to witness the loss of countless good players, and seemingly endless troubles at mill, dual passes may be a great idea.

Rugby League really doesnt help itself at times with the infighting and constant structure and rule changes. To a casual or non-RLfan it just looks like some Northern blokes squabling in a boardroom and another reason not to get into the sport. We should have the fixtures out there and be letting SKY hype up the return.
Good example is Scottish Football, they cant decide how many teams are in what league, clubs sueing the league, constant votes on structure. Im unlikely to follow it because im not Scottish and the standard is poor...but I got bored even reading the headlines about it on BBC Sport months ago. Non-RLfans will feel the same about our sport.

Both clubs have to look at alternative ways of getting fans into the stadium next season. There will be fans of both clubs who will not return to the stadium until they have the confidence to do so and that could take several years or never again due to lost interest.
Hull City will be particularly hit if Allam is still in place and they are relegated
Unless we win something this season i cant see the club maintaining 8/9000 pass sales without a radical incentive, and for both clubs to be playing home games with regular attendances of less than 10000 certainly doesnt help with finances or atmosphere in the stadium.

| ... and why will dual passes help? By my reckoning both clubs would lose money on any dual passes sold, they'd have to be cheaper than 2 individual passes.
And would it really entice anyone to pay nearly twice as much for a "2xpass" when they're doubtful about buying just one (for either club)?
