Bang on, I reckon. Calling for Rule's head isn't the answer - he seems to do some things very well. The on-field side of the club desperately needs sorting however, or it might start to threaten the off-field profitability.

I am not agreeing with either of you but I would point out that Tony Smith has a very good coach under him at Wire and I know for an absolute fact that Nobby does very little on the training field as he has Iestyn and Jon Sharp below him.

Some clubs have the Manager/Coach thing, some dont.

To those who do not understand what Standee is trying to say here it is in an easy form..
to be sucessful onfield first you have to be sucessful off the field, the current regime have proven themselves in that off field area beyond doubt and as we have seen at the start of this season the on field structure was changed to begin the rebuilding process which started with Long, Omeley and Fitzgibbon etc , this will be continued as per the long term plan they have with new players coming in on a regular basis and less effective ones leaving as was the case pre season all of which will enhance the on field ...
from basement club to champions will not happen overnight its as simple as that , look how long Warrington built bit by bit each year !!

and to be fair, think back to pre season posters on this forum who regularly warned against over expectation in one season and its clear on this forum who did not heed that warning...

Can be said but you need to have the "cash to splash" in the first place and a stable foundation to attract the big guns as we did with Fitzgibbon, Omeley and Shaun... once you have those succeses on field then the whole thing trundles along quite nicely , however we have stumbled on field due to the worst injury crisis a team could have , even by our standards...

Injuries are a cheap excuse, yes the injury list is bad right now but it hasn't been bad every week this season.

even with a full strength squad we would be going nowhere with Agar.

So a coach with a medium sized playing rosta loses approx 8 Internationals from that squad due to various injuries for a period of time, carries another 3 or 4 with weekly pain killing injections to keep them on the green has no excuse?? the injuries are Mr Agars fault then I presume?
not trying to make excuses just point out the facts... like I said before this isnt Jeremy Kyle its Rugby league, e happens

What utter garbage. Hardly injury-ravaged at Crusaders or Salford, were we? Agar has created an imbalanced squad with one of the weakest backlines in the comp and clueless at halfback unless Long is on the pitch. No runners and not stood deep enough. Did you even watch the game v Quins? What did you think of our intensity and linespeed in defence? Did you think the team were playing at 100% of their individual capabilities and giving their absolute maximum effort?
