we used to have a wrapped biscuit called a gringo (its true name was a mexican name of some sort which we used to unwrap and drop in a mug and let it expand cos it was a sort of weird sponge sandwich inside but could eventually fill the whole mug so it became a biscuit /tea soup..... mint!!

Wasn't you allowed 10 overseas trained players (5 quota players) in 2008?

Motu Tony
Matt Sing
Adam Dykes
Shaun Berrigan
Willie Manu
Todd Byrne
Willie Manu and Motu Tony were exempt because of the Kolpak agreement. None of the rest would have counted on the non-fed list anyway because they were signed before it came in (so what was the point in putting a limit on it in the first year?! Good work RFL!). So we still had one place left on the quota didn't we? |
