I think if a young English player with his undoubted ability becomes available we should be seriously interested. All it takes is for Tickle to reject his contract and Fitz to call it a day and we suddenly look light in that area.

I'd be interested, but he wouldn't be near the top of list. I still see Whiting as an eventual backrower, and we'd still have Manu, Lauaki, Burnett, Washbrook, arguably Turner, and whoever's coming through next. The 3/4s, props, and halves/fullback are still more in need of fresh blood IMO.

They'll probably start announcing the new signing after the saints game to keep us all interested for next year

With regards SF his stock isnt what it was when he joined Wigan however his form has been outstanding so far this year, at his age , level of experience and so on, he would be a cracking corner stone and addition to our front row options, and again another that wont take a backwards step no matter who you are!
dont think he is out of our reach at all if the changes are made
