I doubt they'll pay him much. I have only seen one player contract (that's a good story for the next book!) and that was back in about 2014 but it did include a couple of clauses referring to bringing the Club into disrepute deeming the player to be in breach of contract and his dads comments at the weekend that the club took down would certainly fall into that category. I wonder if he is to be paid the usual none disclosure hand out. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say if he hasn't.

Tony Smith must be on thin ice then. In his post match interview he said well had to work hard in training. That’s his job isn’t it? I’d say coaching four successive thrashings is bringing the Club into disrepute!

AP is entitled to a holiday & to draw a decent wage for his investment BUT FFS lets be hearing from him soon. Two ways this goes:-

1). New signings arrive over the hill & turn our fortunes around ( with or without TS ).
2) Nobody arrives & the downward spiral continues...............

The criticism was pretty specific though. Leaves the club in no doubt where it came from.

People want players with poor attitude gone such as Connor, but there was no evidence of his poor attitude, whilst there are certainly some for Hoy, add to this Hoy hasn't performed no where near Connors level, I can't see how anyone can be too upset.

It's surely the DJ (the CEO one) who has brought the Club into disrepute and should go. He is the common denominator in all of this shockingly bad recruitment and retention. Pearson should be doing the CEO stuff for his drawings and put Clarke's salary into players.

I don't think I'd target a 7 for this season if Hoy goes, think I'd go with Charles, Trueman and Smith. Trueman if fit will make a huge difference, look at our win ratio last season and how much better Clifford was.

I think we have a greater need at either centre, backrow or loose forward.

Won't achive anything this season, so give Charles some gametime.

Come to Hull, don't put much effort in, get a nice little pay off (I know this doesn't apply to all these players).

I defiantly go out for a 7 , We're only seven games into the season and asking Charles to fill the void for that many games could do more harm than good .
Also Trueman will still be getting back to match fitness (fingers crossed no more injuries ) .

Miller and McKinnon was McRae/Howes/Gentle era. Tansey was under Kath/Rule.

100% need a controlling 7 with a kicking game. As good as Trueman is, he ain’t that player along with his injury record, it’d be a risk to put all our eggs in that basket anyway. Not fair on Charles to be a regular yet. Morgan Smith just isn’t good enough either.

I think we need to go all out for a 7 Dave. We can use Charles for now but we need a more physically developed player in that position.

Hopefully we had some targets outlined for 2025 we can brinb forward to this season.

Agree that we need a centre and at least 1 SR, but nailing that 7 is thr priority for me.
