Completely agree with the first point. The second however, who's to say our youngsters aren't good enough to really step up this year? Look at Wigan last year, players like Tuson and Farrell regularly in the 17 covering injuries. Judge us 10 games in.

I agree. We should let the youngsters play a few games. Longy looked in good shape against Cas and Turner did a good job. If needed let Williams have a go. No need to panic at all. If we do sign a half back this season it will improve our squad. If we don't then we finished fifth with our current squad which is now less Berrigan who missed loadsof games in first half of season anyway. We dont need to rush Horne back and if he plays more games it would be like having a new signing anyway due to the amount of games he missed in the last two seasons. And if Sammut doesnt come bring in Phelps.

While its frustrating to go into a big game with our arch rivals understrength I would rather us wait to get the right players. This board have signed the like of Long, O Meley, Berrigan, Tickle, Fitz etc so they do know how to bring in big names no matter what we think of their choice of coach.

Its a long season and the team at the end is more important than the team that starts, as long as we stay in contention.

I don't really follow NRL due to it not being on sky etc, so who of the players out of contract in 2011 in NRL are realistic targets for the club?

Even though he is nothing special Ben Roberts will be in high demand. Matty Bowen will probably be coming over for a big pay day due to his name more than anything else.
