Easy win in the end...looked laboured for 30mins but the introduction of Heremia speeded us up and we was never in danger after that.All the trys was very good and we didnt have to work hard for them.

Tight hamstrings, should all be fine for next week.

Only doubt maybe Westy who dislocated his thumb and got it put back in on the sidelines

I'm hoping DJ was just taken off as a precaution too. Had a really good game as did Heremaia when he came on. Good to see Yeamo have a top game too.
As for Ellis he was steady in attack but solid as ever in defence especially as it was his first game of the season. He's a massive presence in defence.

Good to see competition for places. Azza outstanding. Also thought Lynch was very good tonight, seemed a positive response to being benched. Crooks/Lineham continue to impress. Lineham reminded me of Crusher Cleal tonight on one carry - massive leg drive dragging 2-3 with him.

PG said in the post match interview on Humberside that the plan always was to play DJ for 50 minutes and then take him off. He didn't want to come off though so they let him run another 10.

Ellis also wasn't supposed to be playing the full 80 which might explain why he was blowing a bit.

I thought it was a decent performance seeing as the heart of the team had such a major change.

Injury updates/scares:
Ellis - fine. Planned to play first 25 and have a break, PG said "he's found out I tell lies!"
DJ - Purely precautionary. He believes himself that he's over his illness and, again, played more minutes then was planned.
Horney - Took a knock early in first half, got repercussions in the second so took him off. Should be fine.
Westy - Had a "nasty" compound dislocation of his thumb, but went back in fine and he said he's ok to play next week.

as for the game, yet again crooks stand out player for me!

briscoe and yeaman finally getting some decent ball now ellis and holdsworth back in the side, yeamos' pass to briscoe was for me the best try of the match!
