Dowesy to stay, I know people winge endlessly about him but he is solid in defence and keep sit up for long periods of the game.

I think I would keep Radford ahead of Wheeldon if only for one season, Wheeldon has struggled to impress in a KR team short on size and weight. I like the guy and I was sorry to see him leave, but he has moved on and so have we.

Fieldon looks better this season and for that I expect he will either stay at Wigan or maybe follow his mentor to Taffy land. Radders still has plenty to offer in attack and defence, the penalty count is a tad high but he is the one maybe standing out when the ref is looking to issue one.

dowes will get 2 years and radford another year. We won't sign wheeldon who is an honest forward but not good enough for a side at the top end of the table

If Wheeldon was the best we could sign then I would seriously be miffed. I would rather keep the cap space then let that waste of space sponge off us because Morgan failed on him

No thanks to Wheeldon. Rdaford and Dowes will sign plus we have Ogre and Moa and Lauaki too. Still expect one prop to come in.

Grudgehull's obsession with our players did us a favour on this occasion. Wheeldon sniffed out some more cash and sold his soul to our little neighbours. We knew when he went that he was never going to be good enough for a SL club wanting to challenge. Good riddance to him and good luck at Quins, Wakey or Salford.

Bit harsh IMO. If he was offered more money and more chance of a starting spot it was the right decision. You do realise that playing rugby is his job don't you?

i would look at playing lauaki at prop next year with the amount of back rowers at the club.

i would keep Dowes as i think there is very little between him and Radford plus Dowes has age on his side. i would look to sign either Fielden or LMS so our pack next year potentially would look like

I'd take him over Radford as a 5th prop yes. This is under the assumption (as stated in the OP) that we sign a replacement for Cusack, and that signing being someone of proven quality E.g. LMS.

Not sure it is fair to say he is a failed prop, does a decent job tbf..maybe he does not fit in with Morgans plans ? personally I would not want him as hopefully we will have Dowes & Radders, who I rate higher..however Wheeldon can do a job in SL as he has proved.

Assuming we run with 5 props next year and bring in a good replacement for Yak I'd also be happy to have Wheeldon as 5th choice prop ahead of Radford. However, Radford is getting a 1 year extension so on that basis I would not want Wheeldon back next season.

Signing Wheeldon would be a backwards step for us. He wasn't a regular first teamer when he was our player and I don't believe he has improved since then. I don't bear him any ill-feelings just because he left to go to Rovers but nor should we re-sign him just because he's ex-Hull and his move didn't work out. If we are in the market for a prop we should be looking for better than him.

I'd be happy with LMS doubt it though. Wheeldon offers nothing more imo alright squad man
