| Quote ="x-jane-x"It is with other mollys, well one other molly. I bought five and only two have survived (never trust pets at home!).
It chases my guppy fish around the most, one of which seems to have a small tail but my smaller fish are dying (i.e. cherry barbs, neons,).
I think I might just get my mam to scoop it out and flush it when I'm at school but I'd feel guilty about killing it.'"
The snag with neons is every other bigger fish looks at them as food.Best bet is to give the molly back to the shop,I`m sure they would take it for nothing.

| Frisby's 113-115 Sculcoates Lane.
They will usually take unwanted fish.
I have taken a few fish there for out growing my tank or for been too agresive.

It's not really the neons he's going after, it's the guppys and the other molly. Also, the fish we've lost the majority of is the Cherry Barbs.
I'll try Pets at Home tomorrow see if they would be willing to take it back. I don't want my money back, I just want a tank FULL of fish that are alive, rather than floating at the top.

Thanks for that! I'll pop round tomorrow.
I've got a few ideas of what to do now. It would be better of in a tank with either other mollys or bigger fish really and I'm more into the tiny, colourful ones (only got the molly as there was some black some white get a mix and they're FC colours.).

| As others have said, a shop should hopefully take it in.
Failing that, if you are going to have to resort to killing it, the least distressing way to do it is put it in ice water. It'll just effectively slip into a coma and die. Freeze a bag of water until it's slushy, drop the fish in and then continue to freeze it.

Agree...one little shiit keeps sitting on our front wall, my 2 dogs stand on the window ledge shaking to get it, the cat is really taking the piiss out of them both
When the kids was young we had a rabbit and a big Tom used to come over the back terrorising the poor thing...hubby once threw a deck chair at it, missed but it never came back

We've got a dog (springer/collie cross) and five cats that all get on fine with each other. Our next door neighbour got a staffie about a year ago, her dog and ours get on fine but the cats freak him out. The two older cats just wind him up on purpose, one sits on top of the wheelie bin, looking over the edge and if the dog gets too close, he gets a swipe for his troubles. The three younger cats (still kittens really) have figured that he can't get through the wrought iron fence to our patio, so they just parade across it until he has an apoplexy

My two dogs are staffies, maybe explains why the cat is taking the piiss
I am not sure what they would do if they got out tbh, they are a friendly pair who get on well will other dogs etc...but my hubby reckons they would hurt it.

The neighbour's dog cornered one of the kittens in their kitchen (told you they were cheeky buggers) and although the kitten was frozen in panic, the dog didn't know what to do with it. I reckon what puzzles dogs most is a cat's speed and ability to climb. When Spooky was younger he chased a squirrel and when it ran up a tree, he stopped, looked up the tree, then looked at me as if to say "how'd he do that then?"

If the fish supports Hull City then we're done!
I agree, you want to dispose of a fish, there are three options...
1) cat
2) toilet
3) frying pan
or you could offer it to Agar as a halfback

I once had a cat who could talk.
I would say "Open the door"
it would reply "Me, how?"
