Though some senior players were on there on the way out at the end of last season according to Agar , but of course some of those had contacts extending into this season.

We have been looking for the response all season and none turned up, lets not forget wining against the lowest team is not a success, as for putting the young guys in how can it damage their confidence if they play well then they will gain not lose also it shows the players of all levels who runs this club .

Sounds like he's well aware of the rumours discussed on another thread about players allegedly supping too much on nights leading up to games. He also alludes to a clear out for next season. If the rumours are true then I think we know who will be leaving - no more chances unless they clean up their acts between now and the end of the season.

It's almost worth keeping Agar until the end of the season just so we can actually get rid of the deadwood/crap players. If a new coach came in now these players would suddenly start giving 100% again and might "fool" him into giving them a contract.

Agreed. However, if Agar said that they would definitely not play for him - he has to make them think that they can redeem themselves if they want keeping on.

This is actually the thing that could potentially swing me back towards support of Agar. If we do indeed get shut of a few, he'll have done something that takes a lot of bottle. There is also still the possibility that certain players truly are behaving like children and making no effort for the club, coach, or to improve.

Departures are now of more concern to me than arrivals, and will have quite an influence on my future assessment of Agar.

As plenty have said, he really doesn't help himself with some of the decisions he makes and things he says, but a clearout (or lack of) will certainly show just how much has been down to having his hands tied and how hard he is trying to rectify things.

I know Richard, instead of harping on about commitment, passion, preperation etc, how about you drop as many as those players who you are talking about as you can, and instead of dropping young and well performing players, and loaning some of them out, play them instead. How Whiting was dropped in the first place, nevermind brought back into the starting 13, I dont know. How Hall didnt make it back in I dont know either. Maloney should be in the 17 also at the moment, nevermind playing in France tomorrow

Mainly on about before he was sent on loan. Tbf, while he was bad at fullback in the end (but his confidence looked shattered, he looked scared to make a mistake and I think that was down to the coach) he did not deserve to be dropped for Saints seeing as it meant Thorman went to fullback. If Horne dropped back there then fair enough, but dropped for Thorman must really kill a guys confidence!

Having G.Horne playing at Centre ahead of him is far worse

TBH I could see the wisdom of moving him away from FB after some of his performaces there, but Thorman should never be allowed near the FB position or any other position for that matter
