The majority of the stag party are season ticket holders. Our Red and white mate is the stag and a big Hull FC fan......that was his forfeit for the day

I'm his best man and believed me it killed him to wear a Rovers shirt but it was all good fun, there was lots of banter but the sp called fight was nothing to do with any of us. As for the so called brawl it was a disagreement and was over in 30 seconds. It was nothing.

rl as a sport attracts a hell of a lot of scummy people, the hull teams more than most others. people shouldn't be suprised that when said scummy people have a few stellas they swear and fight and general act like s. it'll never change.

Too many ed up people at the game, but I am not one to judge on that score, but was pretty much sober! Onlly thing I saw that annoyed me slightly was the idiotic bird on the pitch at the end, but we all got to see almost everything she had to offer so all was well

I took offence to the fans behind me singing, go get your fathers gun, and shoot the rovers scum when quins were behind the posts after conceding a try and Rob Purdham was in there amongst them after everything the guy has been through

Thought the song was sang in bad taste and actually told some fans in the bar before the game about singing the song there after what went on, i asked them to show some respect for the guy but was met with a load of abuse and said they didn't know what i was on about and who had died, but then again the drunken state they was in maybe had something to do with

Maybe i over reacted i don't know but just realy thought the song was sung in bad taste and some people should have a bit more respect, if i offended anyone i apologise but i must say there has been a total over reaction on here imo

I agree with the post in respect that yes you should have a view that the fans singing the song are insensitive, idiots etc...But there is no point in remonstrating with the idiots as you get a situation which occurred on Saturday.

Cannot believe the crassness of some people singing that given the circumstances, not the biggest fan of it anyway.

Me neither gets on my nerves at the best of times, tbh though they wasn't the only ones singing it and im sure most people wouldn't have really realised but just realy felt for the guy whether he heard it or not, a true competior who gives his all and losing his brother in such tragic circumstances just wish we hadn't have sung it

Said to The Brother before the game that it was the last song we needed to hear (cant stand it anway, its a ridiculous and monotonous chant). Ateotd he was in a no win situation as it was being chanted by different areas of the stand behind the posts and to try and control it himself was probably verging on the impossible. However, i travel to the games home and away with The Brother and was with him at the weekend's game and hes just as passionate about the game as anyone else as most of us know, he'll hate a team or player like the rest of us but at the same time commend good play by a team or player when credit is due. It was a situation that got out of hand, true, but was also over in a matter of seconds.

I wouldve thought that some of the so called knowledgeable Hull fans wouldve realised Purdham was playing in the game but then again some were far too inebriated to realise. The sad fact is that when some of them did eventually realise what all the arguing was about they had a couldnt care less attitude about it but i suppose you can put that down to being red.
