The Ock in contention for Salford.

Grix is part of the process of getting more players. Folk seem to be grumpy about Balmforth not being selected when there has been no suggestion of such. I would like Ock to get a lookin given his form is better, we have paid loads for him and we’re a bit short on numbers?

I'd rather use Cartwright/Jebson/Chan/Gardiner to cover the loss of Sao, Scott and Ashworth than see Okunbor back.

He’s back, found a bit of confidence on loan and coming into a better team. Give the bloke a shot.

He’s probably got 3-4 weeks to save his Hull career, surely that’s a motivator and it gives Cartwright a chance to see him in a Hull system

What I will say is that I've noticed he's been a part of the community work Hull do, and he's visible on match days even when not in the squad.

His stats were just plain awful more than anything for me. I’d struggle to put it all do confidence but if he does get another shot he’s just going to have to roll his sleeves up and run the ball in a lot more first. If he does that then sooner or later in a bit better team he’ll get a bit of space to run into which is obviously his game, he’s mobile and big enough to be a threat. We can’t afford a passenger though like he was early season.

It's up to the player to get involved and not just stand around waiting for a pass. Showed no real grasp of playing back row for me and I'd be surprised if he ever does., Needs to be moved on and the quota spot used more effectively

A second chance for him. See what he does. He certainly needs to up his game but hey who knows.

Not sure what he has done to earn a 2nd chance over someone like Armstrong or Jebson.

Won't be here next season, rather give gametime to one of those, who will be here next season.

Neither are tuimivave, Houghton, Scott, walker, Sutcliffe, Cator and potentially Sao, but we can't drop everyone just because they're not hear next year. I'd give him another go to see if his loan spell at Bradford has done him any good and if he can improve in an improved team...there were many poor performers at the start of the season, maybe see what Okunbor can do second time round...and if it's nothing, agree, don't let him feature for us again

Bit different, these players have earnt there spots with some good performances and effort.

We don’t know this though, if he doesn’t want to go, he won’t go. Clubs got to give him the opportunity to show some worth after a pretty positive spell at Bradford.

No one in the club have once mentioned he won’t be here next year. Kid has a good attitude. Still trained every session with FC whilst on loan and helped out with lots of commercial/fan stuff.

All we can hope is he comes good and then reassess his future in the off season

Settled? Only played 1/2 times in that position for Bradford against part time players, think people are getting a bit carried away by him playing ok in the championship.

Indeed. I'd be doing everything to move him on. If he's digging his heels in, make life difficult. He must know he's not earning whatever he's been paid. Most players that take that sort of stance (and to be clear, I'm not saying he is) do it because they know they're not getting another gig as good as the one they've got.

Regardless of any quota rule changes, they should be used as wisely as possible and include as much quality as possible.

You can’t compare any of those to Ock. They’re proven regulars. There’s something else going on with Walker, but the others have been here years and can play.

Refusing to recall someone from Bradford on loan to play back row is not the same as dropping Sao.

Said at the time, it was a move by hull to call him back was a move to push him towards the exit. Looks like it has worked.
