Like i said earlier if Fitzgibbon wasn't here he'd be first choice 13.

As GG has said, how can you criticise Washy for not kicking on when he's been played out of position in a poor side and unfortunately injured for long spells. These are real facts, what are yours?

Agreed. Washy is really unfortunate that Fitz is such a good payer, that said if he learns from him it could make him a better player. I rate Washy highly, always have.

Not at all, just you at the minute.

We could do with a loan swap deal. Send washy to a club in exchage for an up and coming young (17+) SH who isnt getting a game. We could then give this SH a bench spot for some games and see how he does and in the event of an injury he would be given a chance. The other team get a ready made LF or ball playing second row. At the end of the year we could judge whether this SH was going to be good enough to keep and make some deal arrangement if poss or swap players back.

I've noticed that, which is why I don't rate him as highly as some do. That said you can't argue with the fact that he's been hampered by injury and circumstance. Jury's out for me, but I hope he gets a chance to prove whether he has what it takes or not in his favoured position.

Not by me pal. He's a 13 that can "fill in". Whiting is a true utility player, so comparisons are not fair.

washy is in my opinion a true utility plodder that will fill in as and when needed pal.
Also as a 13 he was at best average with a show and go that decieved no one, he had a few decent games but many more very average ones and he is a long long way down the pecking order I am afraid as his limited appearances will show this year and i would surmise he will travel to pastures new at the end of his contract if what i am hearing is correct !

I agree east hull ! Don't forget that this is the guy who wants Manu at SO and Lauaki sat in the stands twiddling his thumbs!!

I am so sorry that my opinion does not agree with yours or your chums on here however your manner towards some other posters is sickly so best leave it there then as you are now being individual and personsalising the issue which started out as a washbrook thread till you started calling others posts tosh!!

Washbrook....Best young player at the club and after very good seasons in 06 & 07 has suffered due to injuries and being played out of position in a team that was under achieving. If Fitz gets injured and when he leave he should be given a chance in his preferred position to show what he can do.

and once again lets go back on topic shall we , this obsession of yours to prove your right is unhinged, please go back on topic or nothing at all ..
