If you take out 10/15 that's about a third of those competing in state of origin. I agree with you that's it's put on to high a pedastal but I think you need to crop alot more than 10/15 to lower if to SL standard.

Sandow is brilliant and he would take us to another level but i won't hold my breath to signing him.

If we were to sign an Aussie half, i would hope for better than Sandow. Prince, Thurston, Marshall, Lockyer just to name a few, all far better.
You could probably throw Barba and Hodkins in their aswell, all better, all with just as much a chance of signing for Hull as Sandow.

what about jack sparrow at crusaders?? Very good player imo & don't suppose he would break the bank either.

Heard yesterday that berro's leaving,but wants to stay in super league and will be looking for a contract in this country.Dont know if theres any truth in it mind...from a reasonably good source though.I would have thought if he were to leave it would be back to oz for him so probably bollox

Were in talks with Warrington regarding the signing of Jon Clarke. They want a fee in the region of 80k. Berro will be returning to Australia at the end of the season and will rejoin Brisbane on a 2 year deal.

I heard we decided not to as we had other targets. We do have several offers on the tables of several players but don't think any deals are done yet. Once one gets done it should kick start a chain reaction within SL I reckon.

He had some interest a few months back from the NRL but was planning to stay with us. Whether his recent family issues have changed his mind who knows?

agree about McShane. he did a decent job while he was with us. provided us with a bit of pace similar to Houghton.
