Kind of agree with the people suggesting it's an overreaction. Do they really want him dead? I suspect not. The dodgy language is a bigger issue, in today's family-friendly world.

You really, really don't want to try comparing incidents at Rugby with the unrelated sport of football, it's been done before and the rugby myth gets exposed. As I said, if you feel there's a problem with some FC fans, then that's for FC fans to deal with. It's nothing to do with football. PC is already only on a fraction of what he earned from FC during his last term with us, however I personally have said publicly and in private that i would not turn down PC if he were available for the right money because as is said often on here there is no sentiment in sport and if he can do a job which he clearly can then I would rather him do it for us than anyone else!! and he is the sort of link we miss!!
However I doubt the Mrs hetherington will ever employ him again ...
and for what its worth 99% of the playing staff dont have any issues with him
