I agree about his skill factor, i just want players in the squad that are going to be dependable. What if we do keep him and he gets his act in order, there's always going to be a nervousness coming up to big games about whether he will actually be there or not and all it takes is for him to re-offend and it costs us a CC semi final or a play off game. No thanks.

The main reason he's missing from the team photo is that as with all major disciplinaries, the chances are he's suspended and ordered to stay away from the workplace which would have included the launch.

Take away the fact he plays for Hull FC and think of this as an employee in the poop with his employer.

I have mixed feelings about this. 3 times is 3 times too many and how many chances does this kid want?? I know he's pretty special on the pitch but we have to show the rest of the team, especially the younger ones, that this behaviour will not be tolerated or before we know it we'll be needing yet another clear out.

I don't see it as spineless, I don't think he was on a final warning so therefore it is not an automatic dismissal.

Time for him to go. I like him as a player because he is one of the few genuine attacking threats that we have, but enough is enough. Once is foregiveable, twice is plain stupid and three times is lunacy.

In that case his position is untenable and he must go.

Unfortunately i think you are right paul but not sure, however I think the delay on news is simply making sure internally we do it correctly but i personally hope we see it as a football question and not an off field question and a huge fine is imposed because there is no doubt the lad knows he has done wrong, any one who saw him this week knows that , BUT he has to grow up and thats always been his issue!!

The rest of the squad will have been preparing for it since Monday.

Tansey hasn't trained with the squad since 24th January.

I bet he's had a few (more) beers since then.

If anyone is thinking of playing him at Cardiff they need to make a decision and get him back in training PDQ.
