HDM claim Castleford are in advanced talks with an NRL club over Chase. We've apparently spoken to other clubs about other players.

Plus I think EHFF mentioned that there is no way that Chase's wife would move over to Aus

thats what i thought id read some where, that chase's police officer wife wasn't keen on moving to oz

my personal view on it is cas are trying to get FC to up the price for chase by getting an NRL club involved

Don't want the club to be paying over the odds for Chase, but at the same time the whole thing has already had so much money (and time) spent on it that it would be too hard to pull out now.

Still hope we get him, but the longer it's dragging on for the more I'm starting to feel I won't be as disappointed if we don't.

I cant understand how people can say Chase is a done deal. Cas have finished for the year, our season passes are on sale, why would the club delay the announcement ? I still hope he is coming but from all reports it sounds like there is still a lot to do.

Or wait until our pass sales take a trough and announce Chase to give them a boost? Who knows.

tbh am quite fed up with the saga, cas and fc have a good fan/club relationship, people like millward are in danger of ruining that!

I agree, if he was signed, sealed and delivered he'd be getting paraded round the pitch before kick-off tomorrow to boost the gate and the atmosphere.
