Why? He wants to reassure fans he's trying his best to get quality players in. He's been transparent that this is subject to visa issues with a change in rules outwith his control, but that we're exploring all avenues to make it happen. This is not letting us down. A deal was agreed weeks ago for him to come pre transfer deadline. Doesn't mean the same deal is available now. I'd be very surprised if the clubs have any kind of agreement in place given millward's outburst

Adam is the greatest thing to happen to our Club for years.I have no doubt he will deliver.
My opinion is he maybe on some occasions needs to be more candid and keep his powder dry.

So was I about Aspinwall, McGoldrick and Watts! So far Gentles Judgement has been spot on and while it is you have to trust him. I also agree that however ambitious we are we should never be held to ransom, Its like the days when Waudby was here and some teams saw our owners ambition as a license to milk us. John Woods at Leigh was a classic example back then. As for the Boy well I don't know what people want, they crow on and on about transparency and then when they get it and we find out some of the twists and turns that go on we have not known about in the past they complain. Millward on the other hand seems to be irrational to the enth degree here, a deal was agreed, Chase wants to come (the bit that probabaly galls Millward) and its just the Visa situation thats a difficulty. If we get him we get him if we don't we tried. For a man who is supposed to be one of the top Coaches in the game to claim that the Australian salary cap has gone down instead of up in recent times, says it all for his credibility for me. As for Amor he's agreed terms so he wants to come Wakey again just see Pearson as a cash cow and as fans we can't see him taken for a ride and think its OK, we have to trust his judgement its his money!
