Don't see how. Dowes may not be spectacular, but at least he's available for selection most weeks. I thought the McKinnon signing had an element of risk, looks positively f**king conservative now.

He's presumably sorted out his groin/pubic bone problem and been given the all-clear.

My thoughts exactly , lost count of the times i have shouted "go on big fella " only to see a half hearted run or a limp attempt at a tackle attempted . Really wanted to see him become a star for us . Wether its coaches unable to get the best out of him , or he just cant do it ??? Wigan obviously see something in him , but for the life of me i dont know what it is .

One thing O`Carroll he certainly gets stuck in ( when playing ), not the biggest fella ( met him at a Wigan do) but will certainly work harder than lauaki

It will be interesting to see how he goes at another club because you might be right his poor performances might be down to coaching or enviroment but i'm not convinced. I'm expecting more of the same from him regardless of what club or coach he's got.

I can count on one hand and that's been generous the times he's had good games for us during his time here and i for one am glad to see the back of him.

I would hope O'Carroll is a one year deal or two at best, just to be on the safe side, although I presume the club have had his fitness thoroughly checked.

Lynch would be a great signing. It it takes a reasonable fee, so be it.
