Washy is a loose forward but agar prefers a prop there

Actually, if they just played him at prop and stopped him standing at 1st many trying to be Steve Norton he wouldn't be too bad. At least as good as cusack as a workhorse prop

Then the sanity of our set up is truly in question.

With the back row Hull have signed up for next year I can't see where else he is going to play?! IIRC he played half a dozen games at prop at the end of the 06 or 07 season and looked pretty good. It was certainly the first time I'd noticed him that season. As things stand my starting pack for next year would be;

Radford
Berrigan
Dowes
Fitzgibbon
Burnett
Washbrook/Whiting

with

Manu/Tickle
Lauaki
King/Maloney/Thackery/Moa

on the bench. Good balance and a few options. 14 forwards leaves plenty of room for backs in the squad.

Radford and Dowes as starting props? Lordy - out of that lot Lauaki must start. Two workhorse and two impact props , one of each starting, one of each on the bench IMO.

I hear you Mrs B. But for me Your grafters need to soak up some opposition juice first. I also thought Hame was predominantly a second rower.

I know what you mean, but I miss having Carvell in the starting line-up with Dowes, then one impact plus one grafting prop on the bench.

On Hame - not that we like to play people out of position obviously, but I think the intention is to play him at prop.

Depends how pivotal they are.

if you start the game with 2 defensive props then you're basically handing initiative to your opponents. Mine would be :-

Dowes

On the bench:-

Moa or new impact prop.
Maloney
Manu
Houghton

Don't see places for radford, tickle, thackray or king.

If we want to be a top side then he shouldn't be anywhere near our 17.

Hes a plodder and a un-inspiring captain. Only backed by a un-inspiring coach.

all could go for me except thacks who is a good impact prop when used correctly. radford, tickle and king just show me how poor our recruitment is

Amazed at the amount of Tickle bashing going on...he isnt setting the place on fire but he offers a damn sight more than Radford.......and Fitzgibbon may start as prop yet as thats where he has been playing just lately.

This big "clearout" was suppose to happen at the end of last season.

At the end of the day we need rid of Agar and Sharp. All new coaching staff with new ideas.

No idea, im a bit behind with world RL news tbh due to working away.

So i dont know whos contract is running out not happy at their club etc.

Coaching staff with any ideas at all would be an improvement TBH.

Only that tickle can kick goals. Other than that he is a very similar player to radford except with more pace.

For me we need to sign quicker second rowers ie in the gilmour mould rather than your plodder types ie radford IMO

A clean sweep in the first team coaching set up for me. New head coach and let him appoint his own assistant and start to bring in his new methods throughout the club.
