i think the agar out thing has been blown out of proportion. i mean what do people expect with our current squad? lauaki,horne, phelps,westerman,sharpe,washbrooke and radford are not top 8 class and never will be. long,gleeson and fitz are all past it and only really offer exparience to the team. even o'meley and moa where poor today and shown up by scott wheeldon. im not saying agar is good but with the current squad we cant really be expecting a top 8 finish

completely agree the 1 major excuse/reason for our lack of success over the last 2-3 years has been injuries yet this season weve been very very lucky yet we are worse then last year. his win/loss ratio is awfull and when you look at his time in charge the guy has not achived anything and we look a million miles away from the likes of WIRE AND HUDDS who i very much believe we are bigger then. |

| we were in a great posistion at half time? for 30 minutes we dominated them but again crap attacking rugby and not capitilising on good field posistion meant we go in at half time level  |

With our 2nd half record this season I can't see how going in level at half time is a great position. By my reckoning we've only won the 2nd half on 6 occasions this season, and 2 of those were by only 2 points.

Top 5 SL teams (6 if you include Cas though at the moment they are getting beaten by Hudds) all have Australian coaches. Tony Smith has never done anything in Australia. McGuire was only assistant with Melbourne and yet these individuals have what it takes. Saints have injuries but yet are still up there with Royce Simmons and Hudds under Brown are pretty awesome. Yet look at Leeds with McDermott they are struggling and Hull are under performing both with British coaches. If i was a super league chairman (or women) i would be looking down under!
Some may look at Potter with Bradford and say he is Australian but to be fair he has inherited a poor squad and are in a phase of rebuilding. Where McDermott at Leeds had inherited a good squad in done nothing much.

Done. I said to Rule he's talked on KCFM about appraisals and individual performance targets before, so one can only assume that Agar's kept his job because he's met all his targets. In which case, the targets aren't high enough for a club that claims to be "A grade". |
