I understand that the club wanted to get recruitment done early, but with the 'reported' players now being made available to SL clubs, it seems we may be missing out on some 'better' targets. I would still be looking for another outside back - Connor Wrench or someone like that

I've been very doom and gloom about the club but in fainess had they not made signings it would have been a risk and people would be saying 'passes now on sale but few or no signings made so it wont be any different next year'

Its a tricky one to get right isn't it , I do agree we may have jumped to early with recruitment seeing what's becoming available potentially to SL .
Flip side is jumping in to late and missing out on every possible target .

Personally I think the club wasn't in the position to wait and see who might become available given the situation we have found ourselves in. They had to act and they have. Perhaps this time next year we'll be able to keep our powder dry for longer but not this year. I think the club have done the right thing this time around.

Leon Ruan released by Leeds. Didn't really cover himself in glory when he was on loan, guess he's championship bound

I'd be surprised & disappointed if it is Leon Ruan.

I'd sign him as a project, but would be disappointed if he was one of the two signings mentioned.

Don't think we cab judge him too much on his time here though, got very limited gametime.

Does he offer any more than Jebson, Armstrong, Kirby, etc?

Hard to judge him in that team to be fair to him.

We don't really need to fill the squad out, could do with some first team ready players.

Offers more size and experience, but get your point.

I'd look at signing Ruan, he's a bit further along than our young forwards aside from Staveley and has the physical attributes to make it at the top level. I wouldn't even think to judge him in the car crash of a season we've just had the same goes for Chan, Eseh and a lot of other young players too.

Really cannot see Sutton coming, his wife runs a company in Australia. I've not seen any rumours about him coming to Hull apart from on here.

Reading the squad list in the mail article, i really do hope the club are on the lookout for a centre. Can't afford to run with just Zak, Chamberlin, Litten and Westerman.

He's got aussie citizenship too. Part of the reason he left canberra for Sydney was for his wife to pursue business interests.

Maybe she can work remotely IF he did come over to SL though?

Sutton would be a great signing but would be amazed if it's true.
I'd rather have Bullock than Ruan but there really isn't much about.
The club are still shopping Sao around apparently so will be interesting if anyone comes in for him.

I'd be surprised if any club in the NRL would go anywhere near Sutton after his run of injuries .
With Isa re-signing and a 6 year deal for Nsemba , Maybe there might be some movement at Wigan soon .
