I'm undecided, sometime players come up during the season so it would be good to have moeny and a quota space to use, that said he is a quality player that would improve us. I'm happy either way, either way I don't think we will get him.

Would take him or Sammut that's for sure.

I think we'll be in a shot of getting him and I guarantee that fans on here will be complaining 'Why didn't we get him when we had the chance?' when he is ripping the SL up.

We have needed a decent centre for a while (besides Yeamo) and yes Berro could play there, but this would free him up to have a strong hooking rotation as well as strong centres.

try and sign Monaghan if there's nothing else available - an SL club will get him and i'd rather it be us. having said that Michael Witt or Sammut would be excellent additions. if we signed Sammut or Witt then I would definately be sacking Agar if he couldn't get us into the top 3 or 4 as well as a decent play off charge

They would have to play week in week out though...cant see them coming as cover.

Id try and get one of them and drop Horne and use him as backs cover.

Exactly my thinking, no sentimental value from me in regard Horne.

He has done us proud and been a great player over the years but he last 2 have been his worse for the club.

Maybe he'd prefer to be at a club as cover than have no club at all. And he wouldn't be cover for long, he'd probably get a fair few games under his belt.

To be honest, I would have concerns that Monaghan would not (does not) have his heart on coming to England or playing for any English club.

Circumstances have forced his choice to come, and when we look at likes of Tim Smith and Greg Bird, then I don't think we would get the Monaghan we know in NRL.

This is the 2nd time I've heard the Sammut rumour. TBF the first time was on the HDM comments section, but still.

Greg Bird was awesome at Catalan. Single handidly got them to within 80mins of the Grand Final. Look what happened this year now he's gone back.
