well I was told a few fans were firing off emails to the club demanding a refund from last night so maybe that's why pearson acted, i agree pearson doesn't have to offer the £10-15 off their passes but if you are offering it you should offer an alternative if you don't buy a pass

Very rare in the World of Sport that an owner apologises for his teams failings and then gives the fans their money back so well done.Fantastic gesture by an owner that is obviously hurting as much as the fans.

Good gesture, but nothing will happen on the player front because it can't. You can't just axe players because they aren't winning games. Not how sport works I'm afraid.

How many fans have actually still got their ticket 48 hours after an away game? Most of them will have gone straight in the bin, on the concourse, onto the pavement or a number of other places.

What about those fans who have for some strange reason kept their ticket but have had enough and don't want/can't afford a season pass?

It's a great gesture by AP & one that you don't normally see. I do feel sorry for the people that went to watch that but like somebody said the other day, if the team were playing brilliant rugby & winning every game would people be offering to pay more to the club?

The club would gain by getting more through the gates and more buying clobber from the shop.

And we would finally be worth the money we pay to get in. As i said previously, we are not £24 a game

No one will renew or not on the basis of a £10 or 15 refund. Good gesture by him though

That's what I mean. Any money he refunds will not be able to come out of ticket receipts as they are pooled. The total won't be double but will be significantly more than if this was a normal game.

AP's refund will prob come out of his own pocket, or even the profit we turn this year. The RFL will not care zip who gets what money back, infact they will be all chuffed so many of us went to Udders to prop up the gate numbers and bar takings

Plenty of tickets were binned on the night and a good deal more will have been lost or washed. He may be unlucky and have to fork out for 500 (£5000).

Typical AP action thinks money will buy anything he is having a bet if he repays say a £5000 and he getting the 500 hundred supporters to buy season passes that wouldn't have done, if he gets 200 of them he recoups £60,000 back not bad business if it works.

Just got my money back, very nice gesture from the club. They also accepted my email receipt from the Giants rather than having to drive over with the stubs.
