I say that too. I don't know if he's the man to lead us to silverware, but I reckon he'd get us to the position where we could at least challenge the top teams. Give him the rest of this season and the next two and I reckon we could be somewhere near.

Other "lesser" clubs have left us standing...all 2 did was change the coach and look whats happend there...they cant match us for fans,merchandise,pass sales (without gimmicks) but do leave us standing with coaching appointments.

I am in the same boat sadly. Reached the point of complete indifference. The derby still bothers me, but I am so glad I did not go out of my way to get to Warrington and am working instead. Much as I love FC and away games in particular, it's just reached the point where I just don't care. I would almost be tempted to travel to Warrington and just stay in the pub

Maybe that is what is needed........and we are on sky the following monday to Sts as well...could get very messy on TV twice in a week.

I think the reaction after the Wakey shocked a few people at the club, more of that is what will lead the board to act imo.

I hope it does. A bit of national exposure might just crank up the pressure on the board to act.

Not saying I hope for a defeat but should we lose then I believe the reaction needs to be strong. Agar would really feel the pressure with the crowd on his back and so would the board.

I'm not sure the board care about chanting and the like. They've barely even acknowledged that the fans have a right to be upset all season. All we've heard is excuses and pathetic rallying calls. I think the only thing that will make them take notice is a drop in income. That seems to be the only thing that really concerns them.

Im only quoting pauls post,isnt it common sense that he will be feeling the pressure,wouldnt you if your job was on the line,nobody actualy knows what has been said behind closed doors do they,he may of been given a set amount of games to improve with results,maybe yesterdays game was the final straw,im sure all will be revealed.
