Spot on. The coaching team told the players a few weeks back not to waste energy fighting to ptb quick due to the new rules around the ruck. Well Leeds, Wire and Wigan all constantly fight to ptb and the common denominator is we lost to all of them.

My worry is I expected Longy to miss around 6 to 8 games this year, but Horney is also getting alot of knocks and missing to many games and we are not going to win alot of games without our regular two halfbacks no team does.

Totally agree with all that. His passing was also really slow and he put his teammates under pressure because of it.

I'd go as far as saying he needs a season in the 20s because he's clearly not ready for super league rugby with Hull Fc regardless of how many games he's played for Salford. I hope he will continue to learn and develop and become a good player in the future but he's got a long way to go for me.
