support has stayed strong(in numbers anyway) from fans even with the whole friday night debate, credit crunch and the poor performances.

in my view tommy lee, danny houghton and mike burnett all good young local players have further established themselves.

Richard whiting and Richard horne have both returned from serious injury problems last year.

Calderwood has played better then many thought and upto his injury had a good season.

Sam moa is having a real go and is getting better each week.

the recruitment for next year looks alot better then the previous years.

in my view there are still positives to take out of this year.

And that is fine, but what about:

1)Poor discipline on the field
2) Poor discipline on the field
3) Poor tactics during the game
4) Having to substitute our number 7 on multiple occasions because he was so poor
5) Poor interchange policy

There are as many negatives to take forward as well, which is one of the biggest concerns I have.

i am not saying there are no negatives and yes thats whats message boards are for. Onething i totally agree on is the number 7 issue but we have all had our say on that one. i just feel sometimes where all to quick to only point out the negatives.

No but to comment on it with any insight you must have played to that standard? Or does throwing a rugby ball around at the park qualify?

The coaches have to go, senior players have to be dropped (obviously only those who arent playing well enough) as well as those seriously under performing. The likes of Hall, Maloney and Whiting need to be giving the chance again to start because Thorman and G.Horne are playing terrible and can be replaced. Players like King, Thackray, Radford and Tickle just arent good enough compared to what we will have in the pack, they cant really be replaced at the moment due to injuries in the pack although one can go for Maloney.
If Agar or Sharp is head coach next year, and big changes are not made with regards to under performing players, then this will be one season pass holder the club will lose. I've been loyal in my spell as a supporter, by the end of this year I will have spent over a grand following the club in 4 different countries, London and to the games such as Dewsbury away in the snow. I've spent thousands following the club since I first starting going regularly at the Boulevard in 2002. But I have bigger priorities now with a wedding to pay for and my final year of a degree, and I cannot jusitfy using that amount of time and that amount of money following a club where most people within it do not care enough, from top to bottom

I know you keep saying about a clear out and 'certain' players being removed from the club but who at your club is actually out of contract at the end of the season and do any of the ones not wanted have another year? If so will they be paid off or just left to see out their contracts in the reserves?

Looking at that you look stuck with a few of the main 'deadwood' for another year ie. King, Radford, Tickle (all mentioned on previous threads), can you see these being paid off or will they still be with you next year?

What we WANT and what happens are going to be very different IMHO.

Bit harsh on Tickle imo...would pay off Radford and King...say bye bye to Thacks as well....thats all his drinking buddies gone and he may hit his form again......

Unless the RFL have given us some special dispensation to exceed the salary cap a fair number of players will be leaving.

Maybe their pay is performance based, if so we could be building the biggest squad in sporting history!
