Other than Ashurst & Thornley being two players there is little else to connect them to signing for Hull. As has been mentioned we are after and closing in on a forward which rules out both of them.

It maybe that we have gone back to Wire for Bullock as he'd agreed a deal and was about sign for us during his short loan stint until they recalled him. From what I've heard Burgess doesn't see him as part of his plans so he may be willing to let him go to release cap space.

If true would be happy with Bullock. Also King is free next year. I know he only played limited time for us but certainly got stuck in.

Bullock would be a decent addition, i even think Hill would be okay for a season. King would be a waste on the quota and no point worrying about Thornley/Ashurst as they wont be coming.

I don't see us signing Hill or Bullock, think both will have options in Lancashire.

Not sure what is happening with Bullock at Salford, he wasn't getting selected towards the end of the season?

As for throwing names about for the prop has Sam Royle agreed a deal anywhere? Not seen him announced anywhere yet. We tried to get him in on loan earlier in the season so they must see something in him. Personally I’d want someone a bit more experienced at SL level and would be underwhelming for me but he’s been released by Saints, less likely to be tied down to Lancashire because of his age and fits the bill as a hardworking middle.

Royle isn't a middle he is a backrower.

Anyone know why Cust hasn't been announced yet ?
