Millwards ramblings on Blunderside just now showed a staggering degree of paranoia and bitterness. His version of events didn't even closely approximate the public statements made by both Hull and Castleford. I honestly wondered if he'd been drinking. Or smoking something.

If, as I suspect, FC have advised Rangi to apply for a particular type of visa to sign for us, it would be a bit harsh for them to then say "sorry mate, we're not prepared to wait any longer for UKBA to sort it out for you, that's it." Imposing a deadline seemed a bit odd to me.

It's rumours here, not ludicrous bullshine. Some others might want to pay attention to that

I don’t think Chase will have his visa yet for Hull FC, as that would mean he presently has two visa’s, for Hull and Cas. I think the visa application will only have been approved should Chase later move to Hull FC.

But I agree that Cas are possibly trying it on for more money.

That's a very good point, and one Chris28 could maybe answer? Could he have a pre-dated visa, or would he only be able to play for FC if it'd come through already?

Seriously I don't, but if he gets the visa on the basis of the relationship, there are no work restrictions on it, so he can conclude his work with Cas and move to his new job with us. He can't have 2 visas and a predated visa doesn't exist, so he may have to wait for the new one.

I don't think he can get the relationship visa because if the rule change in July that AP mentioned, but we'll see.

The only people who will know the position are Rangi, his lawyers and prob AP. And UKBA of course.

Maybe this is just a little publicity stunt from Cas' side. We are trying everything from our end, setting deadlines etc to force the issue. We gave a good relationship with Cas, so they are maybe trying to make it sound bad to force the issue from their end..

We have a deal in principle but they aren't seeing the cash they desperately need because of red tape!! I'm sure they are as frustrated as us tbh!!

I think that if he did have a relationship visa, then it would already be open season with many other SL clubs wanting to sign him.

I hope we dont end up with some nobody After getting our hopes up with Rangi, so therefore I agree that things should of been kept under wraps better until things were a bit more solid.

For the last umpteen seasons this board has been full of complaints about the lack of information from the club and in particular never hearing from the Chairwoman. Now we have an owner and Chairman who is open, frank , passionate, and honest what do we get? People who want him to shut up.
