Thing is, if you were picking a first choice 17, Radford wouldn't be anywhere near it.

Throw in Lauaki too though, and it means that three of those are going to miss out each week.

True, we certainly won't lack size though. Lauaki could play prop and Fitz could play 13, depending on form and injuries of other players.

If Lauaki plays prop I would have Fitz & Tickle/Burnett as the back rowers with Washy at 13 and Manu off the bench.

With our injury record there will be plenty of game time for all.

Sorry mate, just to clear up the confusion, by size I meant numbers and not the actul size of the back row. I'm more than happy with the size.

If Lauaki doesn't play prop, it's going to cause some major selection issues with one of Washbrook and Tickle along with Radford and Burnett to miss out if everybody is fit.

So we cant play Lauaki at prop and have him running out wide? Someone better tell dave taylor.

Ahh I see. I had a different meaning of the word 'size'. I guess the positive is it creates competition for places assuming Agar is strong enough to make the calls when they are needed. I don't see a place in the 17 for Radford but I can't see Agar dropping him.

I think that with Moa signed up, we would have a multitude of options right across the pack. There is no doubt that a top class SO or a real big and pacey strike centre would be great but with the pack and bench that we could have, we'll have one hell of a platform for our backline which will still be very strong.

He has been used as an extra prop when I have seen them for a good deal of the time and several props departing it makes sense, Then again sense and FC should never be used in the same article let alone the saem sentence .
