Not sure if he has a club sorted but if we can manage to offload Sao then i'd definitely be looking at Leutele.Had a great season and was immense last night.

I'm sure I read Leutele was going back to Huddersfield next season. He'd be a great signing for a year or 2, hopefully if we do have new owners they'll want to announce a statement signing, no idea where that will come from like.

Or maybe the player should buck his ideas up. Start playing properly, stopping giving away penalties and sitting out games.

Bit weird that the club's Instagram account doesn't follow Sao when they follow the rest of the squad even some former players and those joining us next year. Also Sao doesn't follow the club. Not sure if this has always been the case.

Interesting as to why they’d be wanting a quota place all of a sudden. Ligi has had a poor season but is a solid prop would be surprised if they wanted to swap him like for like. If we had a centre in mind surely we’d have wrapped that up when we had 3-4 quota spots open and with Cust, Abdull and Sezer signed be surprised if it was another 6/7.

He is the club's employee, if they don't want him and release him from his contract or reach a settlement agreement with him they can do as they like. Isn't that how sporting contracts usually work both ways if it suits either party (Trueman, Sutcliffe)?

Agreed, yes, not trying to find them another club behind their back. He'd probably have grounds for constructive dismissal

At the end of the day in the sporting industry players are commodities that are bought & sold, and whilst they have a contract a club is and should be perfectly within their rights to shop a player or players around if they feel it is the best interest of the club. Its no different to a player or players that sign contracts with a club but then ask to be released to move to another club etc.
Obviously its more typical/common in other sports such as football due to the money available and player values compared to RL but the basic concept/principle remains the same.

We are weak at prop now. Even though he can be a liability he's twice the prop Fash is and the kids are way off.

If we lose Sao we need two very good props.

For me to feel it we need a new centre (actually happy with Hardaker) and any signing that means Lane doesn't occupy a starting slot.

Have the same reservations as everyone on Cust and Abdull, but, against the grain, I'm quote optimistic about Sezer.

If Cartwright can sort Sao’s disciplinary issues then he gets my vote. He spent too many games sat in the stands suspended and injured for me and that’s why the rumours of him being offered have come about, not unlike Josh Griffin.
