Yep, both pleased and very relieved I'd say. Can't see Applegarth keeping his job much longer and be very surprised if there isn't a change of Head Coach before we play them in a few weeks time.
Think todays result only goes to show the importance winning that game to put quite a bit of breathing space between us and the club currently at the bottom. If we do win the game at Wakefield I'd be very surprised if Wakey were to win 3 more games than us through the rest of the season. We must surely have a decent change when we should all being well have Hoy, Trueman, Clifford & Dwyer on the field with Trueman having already played one game.

When you spend a Sunday afternoon listening to a game and supporting Leigh as I did it's pretty worrying I still think wakey will win two or even three games this year at least.

Luckily think we will also when he starts playing Mitch on the wing gets rid of Lane,McIntosh and Evans and we get our spine back

I’d like to think that once we have Hoy, Clifford & Trueman all on the field at the same time along with Dwyer we will see improvement and should be able to put distance between us and both Wakey & Cas.

The prospect of Wakefield-Hull live on SKY at building site Belle Vue will be giving IMG sleepless nights, all this talk of improving standards

I predict Wakey will have their usual mid season resurgence involving sacking their coach, signing a couple of fringe NRL players / super League loan signings from hudds/ elite 1 players, beating us, and doing just enough to get 11th/10th place as they did last year and most other years in super league

Whatever happens, we all still love the club. I remember watching us play Huyton , with my father, when I was a young boy and that was when things were bleak, but we are still a long way off that. When he can call on Truman, Clifford, Hoy , Dwyer, Satae and Sao, we will be a team that can at least compete. I think we are now as bad as it gets. We will see an upturn in fortunes soon and be good enough to stay up, whereupon a complete squad overhaul will happen and we can enjoy our great game again.

Hope you’re right but I think too many have already decided, or have been told , that their time with us is up and will not put that effort in to win when the chips are down. I see no mileage in trying to gain yards with players like McIntosh and Swift when we have the likes of Sao and Satae on the pitch. It just doesn’t help that they both look out of form, for me Sao had been our best player for the last two years , so something is not right .I firmly believe that Hull will not be relegated , even if we finish bottom- no way can a sport that is struggling to actually survive lose a fan base like ours and maybe the management know this already , would explain a lot . I couldn’t give a toss about how HKR are doing , good for them if they are successful and let them enjoy it , but we’ll bounce back and I had heard that one of the Healey family is injecting some investment next year , from a guy who usually gets it right so maybe we just have to sit this out and wait for the good times again.

Why next year?
The club need investment this year.
I would take that with a pinch of salt .If it was true Healey woulnt have to delay an investment till next year when the club is on its knees now financially.
You buy into a club when its desperate like now.

The name I was given was James Healey, the guy who just sold ebuyer apparently. I didn't post that but had similar to Alf, so making mischief is something I leave to others, your apparent inside knowledge makes this a mockery then. The reason for the investment was also given, a hatred of Kilburn and all things Sewell and MKM, so maybe a load of , but your mockery says little more than how arrogant and self consumed you are.

Like Graham, I'd also heard that investment was coming from a member of the Healey family and that it wasn't Malcolm Healey or Wren. Whether there is anything in it who knows, only time will tell but it would be a positive for Adam and the club.

So Healey is coming in as a white knight to save you in your hour of need and all our actual confirmed board members are just in it to end our club with in 7 years to bulldoze the ground and take the lane off us?
