I like Johnstone, but think we need another big forward on the bench tomorrow. Doesn’t work with him and Houghton on the pitch at the same time either.

It seems there is only Lee that doesn't agree. Could be a long afternoon.

I'd have thought that if Kelly plays 13, then 4 forwards on the bench is more than likely.

Kelly Connor Sneyd gives us more of an attacking threat.
The pack have struggled last 2 games so any half back would struggle.

Just dont like the idea of Albo getting battered at 13 to give another chance to the Sulking Sultan at 6 which is clearly not working.
Catalan have a big pack and it would have been ideal time to move Ligi into 13 and start Taylor with Bowden in the front row.
Also a good time to give Masi more time on the field off the bench,and getting him to carry more now he has a much stronger pack around him.

kelly at 13 s as ridiculous as houghton at 13. He'll get battered.

I'm not convinced he'll play, it looks like he's back a week or two earlier than initially expected.

if in doubt give him another week, might be on the bench.

I'm sure Ma'u will play. radford doesn't tend to include players in the 21 who aren't fit

Fash has been outperforming Masi for a while now tbf. Masi is hugely frustrating because he has all the tools but just doesn't do enough. I'd still rather have Brown than either of them tbh but never mind.

I think he has just about got the team selection right. Kelly at 13 might be an interesting option later in the season when the grounds are harder, especially against some of the more mobile sides, but today having the extra prop there seems like the right call. I'm pleased that Radford has just made the change and got Kelly straight in at 6 rather than trying to put square pegs in round holes to keep Connor happy.

What a difference a class full back makes

Not sure what's worse. Just being rubbish for 80 minutes, or actually playing pretty well for a hour and throwing it away. Spineless effort.
