Farrell is the best second rower in the league and walks into any team, Gildart did very well against New Zealand and Cronulla so your statement is wrong, O’Loughlin is also the best Loose Forward in the league and the only true 13 left in SL

To be fair Farrell and Gildart are good SL players and have proven this at international level too.

O'Loughlin however never got the hype over this guy. Seems incapable of tackling below the head.

Look, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you have to expect it to be challenged if you are not going to back it up.

Firstly, in your opinion, Hull having just a 5 day turnaround against a team with a 14 day turnaround is not a disadvantage to Hull. I think it is, due to the factors I stated earlier in the thread.

Next you state its a poor Wigan team, you know, the current SL champions. You then stated it was poor in comparison to previous Wigan teams. You could label that at every team in SL right now.

Its not a Wigan lovein, its a realisation that Wigan are a fairly decent outfit with 6 wins out of the last 7, their only defeat being against the runaway leaders.

Wigan lost the WCC 20-8, hardly a proper drubbing.

Have your own opinion, but do have some back up to support it.

I do think it’s disadvantage, but just not willing to get the excuses in until we’ve actually played the game, against a poor Wigan team. Wcc was a drubbing in my eyes, Wigan so far off it was a joke. Against a team who’d travelled around the world , with barely a pre season under they belts and used it as a warm up game. Against Wigan pre seasoned up and a few competitive games in sl.
So if we win Thursday , you going to come up with an excuse to why we’ve won? Nah because it’s silly. Like the last few sl seasons, the standards poor, apart from saints this year. I believe we should of had a better crack at gf with this squad. Looking forward to next season, looking like some cracking additions to sl, should hopefully improve the standard, just hope rfl can sort some changes, 2 refs, video ref every game. If the rfl don’t take the game serious, not sure how they expect to attract additional support, sponsors etc. Sl needs to be much better quality, to many poor poor games on tv this year. And poor Wigan, Leeds teams ain’t good for the game

Really can’t see how we’re even marginal favourites, but then bookies always seem to know better than me.

Just looked again on oddschecker and all 23 leading bookmakers show us as marginal favourites now.

Flower, greenwood possibly out, maybe a few expected back, won’t be either, obviously don’t think the short turnaround is a disadvantage to hull, do wonder how much analysis goes into rugby league odds sometimes, or is it just a case we are 3rd and at home = favourites
