| Confirmed on Hull FC website that Ellis & Minichello not being risked for the game on Friday and both Pryce & Washy are to miss out but are near full fitness.
Sensible approach bearing in mind the recent run they've had over Easter and its a fair way to go yet in the season.
So for me
Shaul
Michaels
Fonau
Yeaman
Naughton
Tuimavave
Sneyd
Taylor
Houghton
Watts/Bowden
Manu
Hadley
Thompson
Bench
Bowden/Watts
Green
Pritchard
Turgut
Talanoa & Feka to miss out

| I think Talanoa will play instead of Michaels. His kick returns are better although this would be a little harsh on Michaels.

| His defending kicks is also a lot worse, especially when it's Brough who will be kicking them.

Thats why I'd keep Michaels in as he is far safer and reliable under kicks and his returns have been pretty good too.

I agree
Just dont see why some fans dont rate Michaels.
Makes very few mistakes, runs and Tackles hard but seems to have been targeted because of tries scored on his edge which have been mainly due to errors by his centre partner.
He also has plenty of pace despite what some fans on here think.
I think Brough will bomb our left edge of Naughton and Yeaman as thats our weakest side under the high ball.

I don't feel bad, just a little concerned that this, and Leeds next week, are both a banana skin

| Think this one might be a bridge too far given our relative injury positions and Huddersfield's desperation for points.

Think you could be right and can see Brough wanting to steel the show and show us what we could have had haha !!!
Either way be great to show some appreciation for Yeamo on his 350th game for our club (not bad for an average centre who can't pass)
And not forgetting Liam Watts clocking 100 games for us too

Ellis, Wood, Grix, Smith, (plus I suppose Ferres and Robinson) all missing for them but as a few have said on here already having Mini and Ellis missing for us and the way we have for years approached such games mentally particularly after a run of good results , makes me think this is a big banana skin, especially as Brough has a point to prove, so I don't feel very confident about this one either! However its a big test for our ability to overcome what has become almost the norm for us over the years and actually control and manage the game.
Its at least a fact now that in Super League everyone can beat everyone 'on any given Sunday' can't they?

| I'd like to think our mentality has changed given the resilience we showed over Easter. Banana skins no more, if we lose it's because we were outclassed by stronger opposition and we didn't just turn up and expect to win.
Hope I'm right.

| If I recall correctly we lost Mini early in the Rovers match and again against Saints, so we seem to have managed quite well without him. Gaz will be a big loss but we have others who will be keen to put their case for inclusion. I agree with others that its a potential banana skin but I think we'll have enough to take the points.

| I feel less confident about this match than either Wire or Saints. I'm not worried about Huddersfield but about whether we will turn up. I believe the next two games will define our season. If we win both we then have very winnable games against Wakey and Cats which will give us real momentum as we enter the second half of the season, lose them both and we could really lose our way.

Think we'll go ok for the next four. I don't think the players will want Gaz bollockin them again, after the Widnes game.

It shouldn't be "GAZ" (I hate it when people pretend to be mates with players, he is called Gareth, not GAZ), it should be Lee Radford who gives them a talking to.
We shall see what the next few games bring.

The same Gareth Ellis who has the Twitter handle @gazellis12?
I agree that he shouldn't really be the one doing the talking but it seemed to work at Widnes, so why not?
