i've mentioned this point myself and even dared to suggest a band like the whinos have would maybe help but got shot down in flames by people stating they go to the k.c to watch the game and not sing.i'm not in favour of a band but after standing on threepenny for my rugby education the lack of imagination and songs is now crap.a singing area not bad shout but whats stopped a group of mates already doing that.don't know how you could make a area for basically vocal fans.a band could be given a area near sky big screen so it could get the east and west rocking.

Warrington have terracing! the only way to bring back atmosphere is to bring back standing! The support for this is growing all the time in the PL, all away fans in majority of grounds now stand. Safe standing being introduced back in Europe especially Germany, so hopefully wont be long before it introduced. Whole of East stand should be standing IMO, or at least the top half. Anyone who wants to sit can use west or south.

Souths have an area called the Burrow. Great atmosphere in there.

totally agree.can imagine that really taking off.would probaly need a couple of outings at away games (like most songs) to catch on

Don't the Bulldogs have a similar area called the Kennel. We should allocate the South East corner as an unallocated area for those who want to sing. I'd call it the Stable, Old Faithful was a horse after all.
Being in that corner both the East and South would be dragged into the atmosphere.

Think the people behind the idea are planning on calling it something like "Boulevard corner". Really hope it catches on.

What about calling it 'The Glue Factory' as the last resting place of Old Faithful?

I am brand new at contributing here. Have watched from the forum from afar for many years. So, the thread stirred me into making a comment. For what it is worth my family group have moved, this season, from the family bit of the west stand to the south stand. We moved hoping for some atmosphere. The singing always seems to stop at the SW corner so hoping to have a sore throat this season. IMO it would help to have a singing section as you hear different groups start something off in different parts and then it peters out before it gets to the west. Hope it catches on
