Don't think he's been given enough chances for people to dismiss him so soon . Deserves a chance imho

I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves on Crookes. Lets remember this guy was brought in as a replacement for Will Sharp. An upgrade on what we had and however much I appreciate the jury might be still out on him, I think most people would agree Crookes is a better super league winger than Sharp.

He won't offer us what Briscoe has over the years but we need to remember why we bought Crookes to the club in the first place.

what we saw in him I'll never know, to add to the list of failing's he's had that strapping on his leg all year, so is clearly not even fully fit, and obviously has had his off-field issue too. Woeful signing.

He has pace and bags of effort. And he scores tries.

I think the comment about his downfall is that he didn't come through the academy is very true, if he came from a hull club and through our academy I'd guarantee he'd have much more support than he does now.

Would u say after Sharps rebirth you would rate him less than Crookes!!! Although not a world beater i would have taken a reborn Sharp over Crookes everyday of the week.

Whenever he goes near the ball he knocks-on, don't let a hat-trick against Wigan's Kids let you think he's a try machine.

He's not a try machine, but you don't need to be outstanding talent to do your job as a winger. Riley, for example, scores plenty of tries without been an individually fantastic player.

Last night Crookes was one of the better ones. He tracked back and covered other players defensive fu%@ups.
He's still not good enough but didn't really let anyone down.

He tracked back but failed to make the tackle each time, did he not (one time getting sold a dummy on the chase when he had the speed on him).

He couldn't catch the ball. How many times did the ball go into touch on his wing?

His hi forward was appalling. Every time he brought it in from deep he did a little jig 20 metres out (why?!) and ran sideways. We lose metres when he does this.

I'm sorry, but those saying he had a good game last night were definitely not watching the same player. He is below average I'm afraid. He's had plenty of chances. I'd rather bring Gareth Raynor back from semi pro rugby as a back up than Jason Crookes (that doesn't mean I think that's a good idea!).

Just realised the same guy that was berating crookes from the kick off on Friday, to the point where he had no option but to criticise his pink boots, was the same bloke cheering him on like no other at the Salford game. Out fans baffle me sometimes.

Couldn't get near swift when chasing him on Friday but pretty sure horne chased the same player down when he'd made a break

the kids carrying a injury and has been for awhile, hopefully with a full off season we might see the best of him, believe me when fit this kid is very quick, whether he is the answer to find a top notch winger is another thing

I would say that wingers can only perform well with good service, he's hardly recieved great service with our style of carry the ball up then an inside drop off pass. I won't be writing him off until we play with a little bit more flair. We've been spoiled somewhat by Lineham who is a different style of winger.

Yes I would. After Sharp failed to find a taker in Super League I'm delighted he's now having a new lease of life at the level below. I just think Crookes looks half fit and under confident currently. Crookes won't be a world beater but I don't rate Chris Riley as a world beater either, yet he has proved to be valuable to Wire while their superstars take the plaudits. Maybe in time Crookes can do the same for us. We always look for scapegoats at FC it amuses me.
