Working lates all week , Hoping for an early shift on Friday !

Well, whatever anyone is doing this week, make sure you have a read of the Dentist's Diary. Its tremendous!!

Unfortunately I have a 3 day course in Aberdeen to attend starting Wednesday morning but flying up Tuesday night!!! My employer had me scheduled to return to Humberside airport at half 8 Friday night until I said that is not acceptable and they are now flying me to Heathrow which is 14 miles from my hotel



That just means the missus has to drive down herself and I will have to pack myself my weekend bag with flag, wig, shirt, scarf etc etc tomorrow. So I can get in the mood really early!!!

Don't sweat too much already had one flood this year.

I'm in Manchester for 2 days and then London for 2 days.

Then rather crazily, even by my standards, I'm travelling home on train on Friday night from London. I will then be in the car saturday morning for the trip to Wembley, returning Saturday night. Thankfully I'm not driving!

Result!



Head's all over the place already. Christ knows what state I'll be in by Friday. Need a drink before I can read the diary.

Arrive back home from Italy tomorrow, then off all week. My U9s got Myton away on Weds evening, warm up for Saturdays main event

. Probably go and see the team off on Thursday. Bab myself the rest of the time with excitement and nerves.

Everybody's week sounds so much more interesting than mine!
I'm working 8-5 all day then bed early Friday night so I'm all refreshed for Saturday's early start!

nervous wreck all week, get the 3.20pm train on Friday with my 2 Airlie Bird sons Boys 29 and 25 and my Airlie Bird daughter 16. All B&W crazy .......its a luuurv thang. Hit Euston Thistle around 7.00pm. Black cab to West End by 7.30. not too many.....Bed at a decent hour, still nervous. Up at crack a dawn, big brekky in Camden Town and couple of jars. Jubilee line to Wembley then meet the mates at the Torch. Cry with joy at the end of the game as Gaz lifts our cup, sharing the moment with my babies. and party like never before till the train takes me home on Sunday....COYH

Did just about enough work today. Same tomorrow!

Got the 20 week scan with the wife tomorrow. Keep getting told off when I talk about Wembley as 'the scan is more important'. Pfffft women!

Went to the shop at KC today to buy some flags. It was rammed and sales must be booming thanks to the cup final. I've just seen the BBC advert for the final and was very impressed. I bet that dobbin who was on radio Humberside on Sunday has wrote a letter of complaint to the Beeb because they did not mention that the Dobbins turned Leeds over.

They did what??? I must have missed that due to celebrating the fact that the city's no 1 rugby league team is on its way to[i[size=200 WEMBLEY!!![/size[/i

They were fielding less than an "A"team to be fair.It must be comforting to rovers supporters they have a dozen players who can step up and play first team rugby

My god , there's some drama queens on here

Normal week for me.

Came down to London this morning, working all week then my wife, two boys and eldest's girlfriend coming down Friday night. Party on the roof (can just see Wembley arch on a good day), Saturday hit the Jubilee Line in good time to catch up with the black and white army on Wembley way. Party Saturday night then back to Hull on on train Sunday lunchtime. Kings Cross is gonna be mental on Sunday!

Kings cross should be full of thick heads on Sunday morning!

Pity the train guard trying to keep order in the quiet coach!

Tues night - take my son to rugby training n wind the dobbins up.
Wed night- iron my WEMBLEY gear pack bag, unpack bag, pack bag Christ try n remember whats lucky n whats not
Thurs - get my haircut for when Gaz Ellis runs over to me n says c'mon lets go get the cup together.
Fri 9am meet in admiral for 10.30 to Kings X for the biggest weekend of our lives

thursday - working
friday - nieces party with my son, and probs wont sleep
saturday - probs done all nighter, get shower then slip on the 2008 wembley polo shirt to travel down in, set off for kc car park at 5:45, change into forces shirt when there, then onto wembley way to let the party begin!!!

Saturday - All nighter then to Walton street for Coach to Wembley at about 6:00am
