Looking forward to another semi final. Not expecting a win but then I wasn't in 2005 and Saints that year were far better than Warrington are now.

We're actually more effective in the wet, we know teams are not going to be expansive so it becomes a forwards game, we just play the Aussie pressure game in the wet, keep them pinned in their own half, hope for a mistake and capitalise on it.

Interesting to read that Lee Radford has asked Riddick Bowe to give a talk to the squad in the run up to the game.

I think we can win. We'll need to kick really well and defend with good line speed and discipline. The one way Wire hurt you is when they play off penalites in your half. Restrict the easy yards and they get frustrated and start pushing the offloads. This has happened the last two times we have won at Wire.

That said I think the big match experience will be too much for us and our lack of discipline will cost us.

The last half dozen games I expected a win for Hull IF we turned up and played like we all know we can. Unfortunately we didn't, a lot is made of the halfback issue but for me it starts with the forwards and ours need to raise their game.

I expect the same on Sunday, play like we did against them a few weeks ago and we have every chance of a win. And PG should be safe in his job for a good while longer.

Play like that and lose I also think PG will be safe.

However, if we play like a bunch of amateurs that have never met before then PG may be shown the door at the end of the year, especially if we miss out on the play offs.

But, until then, I will be behind the team and will be at Huddersfield giving my full support.

I think we'll get a superhuman effort in defence, but our poor application in attack will rear its ugly head yet again.

I am just praying we can find our attack on Sunday, we have found it once or twice this season and when we have we have looked very good. Find it again with the forwards playing there part and we have a chance.

Last time Gentle mentioned he wanted attack the players thought he wanted to pin a notice to the board.

My thoughts as well.

Think we'll give it a go but there are too many worries about our attack. I don't think there will be a problem with effort but that will not be enough at this level.

Bit stupid, releasing a shirt the day after theyd be due to play in them.

I've literally no idea how we'll play on Sunday. All I'm going for is a decent day out, catching up with old mates, having a number of alcohols and probably ending up regretting ordering the hottest thing on the curry-houses menu on Monday morning.

If we win, then we get to repeat it in four weeks time in London, if we lose, hey its not the end of the world, least we still have a club to support.

I just can't see us all of a sudden finding an attacking flair against a quality defence. Therefore our defence has to be top drawer. If we keep Warrington to 10 or 12 we could win. 20 or more and it will be too much for us.....
