Horney had a good game, Heremaia better at hooker but shows Gentle clearly has no confidence in Seymour or would have played.

We lost it upfront,it didn't matter who played at 7 (we just didn't have enough possession),personally don't want Seymour anywhere near the team.

Mistake last night IMO Seymour should have played. We lost out by not rotating our hooker whilst not gaining with Azzer at SH. That's a net loss over playing Seymour regardless of whether he'd played well or not. Seymour needs to go if we don't want him - maybe we've some cap this year that can be used towards a release agreement with him. Can't see him wanting to sit around in Hull for 18 months without playing if he wants a gig somewhere else afterwards. Richard Horne took over the kicking game well last night and defeat certainly wasn't down to him. Poor second half completion did for us - O Meley losing the ball in a rare penalty fuelled incursion into their 20m area was the turning point.

Seymour is holding the club back,if he has any balls he should admit things havnt worked out with hull and come to an early release agreement.its sad for all concerned but if he holds out just to take the money what does that say about the bloke

I don't know what's going on with seymour but it has to be more than on field performances. He hasn't been that bad IMO, and did well earlier on last year plus he was hampered by not having a settled half back partner. He has shown in the NRL he is a capable player so really don't understand why we don't play him rather than our interchange hooker.

That he has commitments just like everyone else.

The trouble with Seymour is that as one of the pivots in a team he has to be a bit better than average (which he is)its like he cant be arrsed,its just gunna get embarassing for him unless he pulls his finger out.Total waste of money

Seymour, as far as we are aware, is meeting the conditions of his employment, so no reason for him to walk away. Anyway who thinks he should is clearly not very sensible.

If he'd been a local lad everyone would be saying "give him chance" etc. etc.

While he may not be the best scrum half, to question his attitude is offensive and complete rubbish.

Indeed, I know a few people on here that would probably be out of a job within minutes if they applied the same logic to themselves as they appear to want to for Seymour.

Over the yeas I've seen plenty of FC players tossing it off and not deserving a wage through lack of effort. Seymour is not in that group.

Maybe he can't 'd' because he has been treated so poorly during the off season. Seymour is a cut above anyone else at your club in his position. I think Gentle is mad not to play him, unless there are off the field issues.

You could certainly see why his attitude wouldn't be great, how many of us would be happy being publicly deemed not good enough by the owner. Then watch as your company openly tries to replace you for the best part of six months.
But his attitude is right, according to Gentle. I think his confidence is non-existent and probably struggles with motivation, which plain and simply is Pearson's, Gentles and McRae's faults.
